Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good morning,


I had a busy weekend, didn't get too much time on the old MMC, we went and did a bit of Christmas shopping yesterday spent 5 hours in 2 stores with 2 children, LC fell asleep for an hour of it, we went to Toys R Us so the boys could give us a good Christmas list, and they didn't disappoint almost got 2 pages worth for each, my wife took the kids into another store to get some teaching supplies, and I went back and bought a few of the items, so we are getting close to be done with them. then we went to th JCPenney Catalog Outlet store and I found a Santa Claus Lamppost (which I will take a picture of and post when it is set up) originally $120 marked down to $37 couldn't pass that up, and got JP more school clothes and such, the sales were great. A week from today the Halloween decorations come down, and Tuesday Christmas starts going up.

Please don't remind me about my Cincinnati Bungles

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a little overcast here in south GA this morning, hopefully we'll get some rain. My mom is in the NC mountains, and she says it's STORMING up there, but it's supposed to clear up for her later today.

I'm still a little sunburned from pulling the kiddie train at our school's fall festival Saturday, but it was a lot of fun!

LOL....let us know how that works out for you. I still remember the wall tree your neighbor gave you.....Good Luck with getting that tree up before Thanksgiving. Keep us posted!!! LOL.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is going to be another warm day here. They are calling for a high of 79 today and then strong storms tomorrow. Not much on the agenda for me today. I have some cleaning to do and I will have QVC on all day. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

The Panthers game was ugly yesterday and my fantasy football team still got killed. I think watching football with money on the line ruins the fun of it for me. And with the Panthers win,apparantly they brought in some nasty windy rain and thunder that has my knees killing me. And on the day we are meant to do our Halloween party shopping. Should be an interesting day today. Other than that, 19 days! Holy moly I can't wait. Ready to take down Halloween decor and go Christmas light crazy! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good Morning All My Holiday Friends,

WOW!!! Last night storms were quite crazy, we seemed to have lots of limbs in the yard and one huge tree came down as well. There is talk of a few tornadoes last night so I ll will have to see if one happened in the area or if mine was due to micro burst.

This is the start of busy week again, since we have Halloween and lots of extra hours of work. This Saturday my wife have an appointment at the fertility doctor.

I heard on the news there was a tornado in Rice, Texas last night. We had some really wild thunderstorms in the Hamilton area with lots of lightening.

I hope everyone remains safe. We have had some crazy storm weather this year all over the U.S. I dread to see what the winter months bring. All of those flood areas could soon turn to huge snow accumulation areas in the winter!!! I love snow, but not when it begins to cause dangerous conditions. I am expecting we may have record snowstorms again this year if the wind and rain storms are any indication. Be safe everyone!!

I don't have any personal experience with snowstorms, but all of my dad's family is in Buffalo, NY. I hear stories about being snowed-in for days at a time. It's so hard to imagine, because snow is almost unheard of down here.

That happened about 40 miles south of us. The skies here looked scary but we didn't get hit. Several schools got torn up. Thank God it happened over a weekend when school is not opened.
