Hii every one... every day here gets a little more stressed as friday is approaching and my test will be on friday... I did order some christmas gifts this morning :D so that's good.... the rest of the day is just stressfully studying, partly because i forgot it's only tuesday, i thought it was wednesday
will get back to globalizing world politics now, you can find me there if you need me ;)
have a great day everyone!

Good Morning, Friends.

Monday has passed and we have advanced into another week.

Let's check on the count (unless you are in a restaurant, in which case you can count on the check).
<< CROWN!! >>
Sorry.
Days to the Season: 18
Days to Christmas Day: 60
Barely over 2 1/2 weeks away now from the start of the Season!

Wow! Lots and lots of rain last night. Dead leaves down everywhere.
People say the Autumn is a beautiful time of the year and I like the fall colors myself but brown, dried leaves all over the formerly beautiful lawns just looks messy to me.

Sorry to hear about your accident, Seawaters.
May your recovery be quick and uneventful.
(And that you won't miss your special post date of November 12!!)

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everybody!

Wow!! Only 18 days til the start of the season. Time is really moving along!!

I love TSO. The sad thing is that they will never appear in our town--maybe in Sacramento, about 80 miles away.
I need to check their tour dates again. I think the closest they come to me is Columbia, SC, about 150 miles. I still might make the trip.

I did something sort of stupid on Friday. I slipped and fell on the curb and broke some ribs. I tried to "ride it out" in the hopes I was just bruised, but the pain kept building. I went to the doctor after school today, so he said I need to rest, take medication, and I will probably heal in four to eight weeks. Nothing else can be done! I guess that will teach me to watch my step. My bruises on my forearm and upper arm are SO UGLY!!
I'm so sorry! They say broken ribs are just about the most painful broken bones to deal with. Take care!
you will have to take a trip up here in the winter sometime and get some experience! Most of the time they are not to bad, we just learn to make sure there is always supplies on hand (good dog sled team, extra igloo, warm bear skins, fresh seal meat)cheesy

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well, we avoided to storms down here. I didn't even get any rain, even though I was hoping for some. It's still overcast, so maybe there's still a chance.

I have a busy afternoon today. My mom is coming back from her extended stay in the Smoky Mountains, my son has guitar lessons in Statesboro (about 30 miles from here), and my daughter has dance, too. Run, run, run! That's ok. My daughter loves dancing, and my son is even showing me a few tricks he's learning on guitar that I didn't know after all these years!

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good windy morning! WOW...sounds like it's going to be a wild day!

Seawaters...wishing you a speedy recovery! How painful!

Have fun tonight. I love hosting parties, and I especially love to make good appetizers. What all are you having?

Cherylle in CA

Good morning everyone! It's the start of a busy day here. I have more cleaning to do and then have appetizers and cookies to make for my party tonight. It's warm outside right now... 61, but we're suppose to get storms early today so we'll see what happens. Hope everyone has a good day! :)

This cracks me up! I love jokes and puns! Also, I will absolutely be ready for my special post date. Thanks for the get well wishes.

I couldn't agree with you more. The other day my yard was all ready to be decorated for Christmas and now its muddy and ugly with dead leaves everywhere.

Thank you for the countdown Crown, I look forward to it every morning.

I see lots of rest and coffee in my future!

Cherylle in CA

Yes, rest and coffee....good combination. So sorry to hear about your terrible fall. I wish you a very speedy recovery!

Here's a quick shot of the kiddie train my dad built. We have 8 cars.

I remeber Statesboro well back in the days (many, MANY years ago) when we traveled to Florida via 301 instead of 95.
We used to always try to stop at a little restaurant called the "Paragon".
I'm sure it must be long gone by now.

Yeah, it's been a while since the Paragon was here. cheesy
