Chilly this morning, it was 26 when I left for work this morning. We had a couple of inches of snow this weekend. It was need to watch our high school football game in the snow on Friday.

I wish I could do that but I don't want to let this Christmas go that I can never look ahead. Then when it's over I feel like it's forever before it returns. cheesy

Welcome to monday. We are VERY close to the season celebration! I can't believe how we were just bummed out that Christmas was over and its back! Oh YES! Just about all my stuff is out, Ill post more pics tonight after work, if I don't fall asleep! No snow here yet. We sometimes get a light dusting before Halloween but not this year. Well back to work I go. Hope everyone has a great day!

Maybe if I planned for next year I wouldn't miss Christmas so bad when it's over.

I always get depressed on christmas night when it is all over. Getting up early on the 26th and shopping for new decorations to put out the next year always helps me get over it fairly quickly though. cheesy

ALL my cards are made out and ready to go, just have to get stamps on them. I am currently taking a break from cleaning to get a bite to eat then back to it. We had a few houseguests and they left my house a mess, not gunna do that anymore. Listening to Michael Bolton Christmas tunes right now and I am so ready for it to get here so I can sit back and say, "AHHHHHHH, I am here." It is still a wee bit nippy outside but nothing to shiver over. Hope everyone is having a great Monday so far.:

I agree. I find listening to Christmas music helps a lot! Thats why I put everything up the first week of November. So I can enjoy it. Some people (not here of course) think I am crazy. But they just don't understand! I wonder if Jesus decorates early? hehe

Actually that would be an everyday, every hour, every second year around decorating. I find it amazing that I can look at one thing and turn back and there be a blossum opening or a small drop of dew catching the light just right. Thank goodness for small pleasures and letting people think we are crazy, which some of us are but that is why we all get along so well i think. LOL)

I just got all of my christmas decorations down from the attic expect for the tree. I have them all stacked at the end of my bed right now. I will start sneaking them out next weekend.

just about to book my weekend trip to london, i'm going the first weekend in december and it is so christmassy and beautiful. i'll be sureto take plenty of pics cheesy

Beautiful post, Star. Christmas is the greatest show on earth. It has an incredible affect on people throughout the world and brings out the best in most. It is a time of loving and joy. There is nothing better than being with the ones I love. I don't get to spend much time with my family throughout the year, so when the Christmas Holidays officially arrive, I head home as soon as I can. Honestly, there is not a time nor place that I cherish more.

Good Morning all!

Thanks for the post Christmasstar!

I am so behind on here. I haven't been feeling too well and have had a sore throat for 5 days now. Any chance I get I am sleeping. I have been babysitting and did go to work yesterday. Wayne went onto church without me yesterday because I felt bad and needed to rest up for work.

Since I have been feeling bad I never got the tree up last week but Wayne set the tree up for me Saturday. He's so sweet! It's not decorated yet because I was waiting for my little helpers to arrive. The grandkids just came over so I hope we get it finished.

I hope to catch up on here soon!

Get better soon! You need to be tip-top shape for the beginning of the Season!! It's nice of Snow-In-Texas to put up the tree already! I'm sure its presence may make you feel better before you know it!

It has been such a fast year! Seems like the other day when I was at my university graduation and then off to Prague and Amsterdam during July. Wowzers! This year has flown by! Only five more days!
