I just love seeing the spirit of Christmas put into words. It's such personal feeling but at the same time, its the exact same thing that most of us who read it are feeling. Some really great posts this week. Thanks to all. You should all be proud to know that just a few special words you wrote are enriching the Christmas of the many who read it.

Very nice post Auntie!

Thank you!

Thank you for the wonderful post Auntie!! There's a lot of Christmas spirit in those words! LOVE IT! :)

The concert was so way cool last night. Its unbelievable to me how every single year TSO finds a new way to blow your mind! The show last year was so excellent I thought there was no way in the world for them to top that, but guess what??? THEY DID!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! I'm still in awe...running on adrenaline today!!! :) I could turn around & go back tonight! We ate at TGI Fridays before the concert - What a fun, fun night!!

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
Not only is tomorrow Weekend Eve it's also Season Eve!!
(NOW, don't you feel all warm and fuzzy?)

What a great day it is!!! :-D Love the sound of that - Season Eve! :)

2 Days to the Season Count

An so … this brings us to celebrating Day 2 of our Countdown to the start of the Christmas season … and tomorrow we will be treated with a special Day 1 post from SeaWaters.

Festive Regards,
Auntie M.

Great words, Auntie. We are all blessed to have found such a wonderful place to share the magic of the Season year-round. Only two more days until the Christmas music and movies can overcome my life. Looking forward to the final Special post tomorrow, SeaWaters. Good luck!

Remembrance day here in Canada. A day to remember those who gave their lives for us so we could live in freedom.
Let us never forget.

Let us also continue to pray for those who still serve our country overseas that they will keep safe.

I tuned in to CBC to watch the Remembrance Day ceremony in Ottawa. Lest we forget, indeed. A big thanks to everyone who gave their lives for their country in any war.

Thanks, Brent, for your good luck wishes for tomorrow. I just hope no one thinks it's too long.

hey guys!

what an utterley fabulous time of year cheesy

had a peppermint latte from starbucks yesterday, going back for gingerbread latte tomorrow.

tonight, i'm going to bed early, snuggling up with my baby girl and watching a christmas film - BLISS!

Sounds delicious! I think I may have to stop in for a Candy Cane Hot Chocolate soon. I don't drink any caffeinated beverages throughout the year, but I can certainly make an exception for the odd candy cane hot chocolate. cheesy

Enjoy the Christmas film!

Wonderful post, Auntie!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

We spent last evening planning our daughter's 10th birthday party. All the invitations had to be pink leopard print with pink words. She's planning a salon party. A local hair dresser does parties for girls, including hair styling, manicure/pedicure, etc. You know, all that girlie stuff. Ugh. LOL

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Sounds like fun, Brad! I'm sure that your daughter will love it. And, don't worry, we all know that you secretly want to join in on the salon party, too! cheesy

Thanks for the update, Holiday! I am envious of your last night's enjoyment! Glad to hear that they went all out again this year!

Good afternoon, everyone!

It's another beautiful day here in North Bay. The sun is shining. The sky is blue. Is the Christmas Season really right around the corner? Why, yes...! My heart is gradually filling with pure excitement for Saturday. The Christmas Season will be wonderful and I'm excited to ring it in while back in Ottawa. My dad arrives tonight. We are probably going to watch the Bruins vs. Habs game and maybe do a few other things. We'll head back to Ottawa tomorrow after my class and probably arrive around 5! Even though it's been just over a week, I am excited to see Kim and a few of my friends.

I saw my first Christmas Tree yesterday! I walked about an hour to go to a friend's house prior to celebrating the fact that my section no longer has Thursday morning classes, and came across the tree. It wasn't directly in the front window of the house, but near the back of the living room. I was informed that I could have gotten a ride when I arrived there, but I guess I was supposed to walk to see the tree. It was beautiful! Already lit and decorated. I loved it! It made me smile for the 10 minute walk that I had remaining. I can't wait until Kim and I put up our tree. I'll ask her if she wants to do it this weekend or when I return. It might be easier this weekend since my dad will be with us... But, it's her choice!.... Of course, you all know what I will be pushing for! :D

Well, I should get ready. I have to leave for class in about 20 minutes. Oops. Have a great Thursday, everyone! As Crown said, the Weekend and Season Eve is nearly upon us!!

How much of it was Christmas music??

Auntie,
I cannot believe how much my post (which I had written days ago) mimic yours. I will make some changes. Your words spoke so personally to me. I cannot thank you enough.

cheesy Don't change it, Seawaters. Friendship happens the moment someone says, "Me too". I quite imagine many of us hold similar sentiments.

:-? I have a dreadful migraine and can't hang out tonight, but I'll make it here tomorrow even if it's only for an hour during the cross over toward the start of the season.:hello:

I hope your head feels better soon. I used to have migrains, but I haven't had one since 1986; but it was a doozy!

I have been going non stop since Saturday and will continue being busy until Monday. I worked over the weekend, have had my 3 grandkids all week and now my oldest grandson is coming over tonight and will be with me for the weekend. I am actually looking forward to some one on one time with him. He is a little easier since he is 6 years old and will be fun to hang out with him. We plan to watch a Christmas movie before he goes to bed tonight.

I'll need picked up from the airport - you can recognise me by my plaid luggage and matching shoes
