I hope it gets better as the day goes on!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry, KellyAnn! I hope it gets better.

Well, I just relived the madness that took place last night. Boy, was that fun or what? I'm amazed at how many posts I missed!

I'm the only one awake in the house right now.....peaceful, quiet....sitting here in Mom's kitchen (we are staying with her until we can move), I can see the house we are moving to and I'm imagining how I'm going to put the Christmas lights up. We get to start moving in a couple of days...I'm thinking about calling and asking them if I can come over and decorate the outside of the house tomorrow....

HMMMMMMM......now that's an idea!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! I'm just checking in real quick before I head out to my sisters house. She is having my nieces kids birthday party this morning and needs someone to hang the pinata for her. I guess my brother in law tried but the knot kept coming undone. Then it will be back home for awhile before the family party tonight. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a good Idea to me Coach!!!!!!

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY #1

Good Morning, my Super Sensational "Seasonal" Friends.

Yes, Folks. In case you missed it, we had a blast ringing in Christmas Season 2010 last night! Most posting ever for Season Eve night!

And unlike the termination of "standard" countdowns to Christmas Day, we don't just have one day to enjoy then it's gone. We have only just begun!
Fifty Days of being within the Season (Nov 13 to Jan 1)!

And guess what??
We have another Milestone to go!!
Yes, it's the 90% mark to Christmas Day and it's November 18, barely 5 days away!!
(And you thought all our Milestones were gone.)

Our countdown continues as well:
Days to Christmas Day: 42 (Six weeks from today!)
Days to Thanksgiving Day: 12 (Getting close to single digits!)

Cold again with temps in the mid 30's here in Raleigh but I have a warm heart this morning, Friends!

Have a Sensational Saturday and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy being within Christmas Season 2010!
(Now, where's that Glenn Miller Christmas tape? Just saw it a minute ago.....)

My thoughts on this thread, its participants and the Christmas Season arrival:

Well, all I can say is Wow and Thanks!
What a wonderful and inspiring series of special posts we have had.
And such talented members!

The expansion of interest for this thread in 2010 has been unbelievably remarkable and gratifying.
Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought we could increase the posting by such a wide margin over 2009.
(How we can possibly top this in 2011 is beyond me. A tall goal has been set indeed!)

What staying power Christmas has! While other institutions, governments and even whole societies and cultures have come and gone, Christmas remains and hopefully is here to stay as long as mandkind endures!
(So much for the media-generated, so-called "War on Christmas". Christmas has won, as if there was any doubt. As if there was really any war to begin with!)

Christmas Season 2010 is here and upon us!!
Enjoy the next 50 days to the fullest (And I know you will!)

Now onward to Christmas Day and New Years!!

Thanks again for your continuous and continuing support!!

Welcome Holiday season!!!:snowball: I have to work all day, but plan on putting on the Hallmark channel as soon as I get home!!!!!!!!cheesy

A crisp Saturday. Started out ok then went to saddness when we learned of 10 year old Zahra Baker and the authorities finding some of her remains. I am praying the person responsible feels the guilt for the rest of their life.

My sister joined MMC last night. Her name is April Lynch Horning. She said she couldn't believe that a site such as this existed, she thought I was the original Christmas Crazy person, I told her she had a big surprise in store.
She is looking forward to perusing the posts and finidng out how others celebrate the season.
Mr. HJ is watching one of the Peter Falk as Max the Angel movies on Hallmark.

I will be baking cookies today and decorating my tree. I still have to put up the outside lights. I was watching one of the morning shows yesterday and seen where they brought the tree into ROckefeller. They found a woodcock in the branches and have moved him/her to the Central Park Zoo.

I will be mailing out my cards in roughly two weeks and my ornaments the same time.

I have some really great news everyone- I have a job. Orientation is the 18th and I will be working the following week for ONE day. Then full on until the Winter Break. I am looking forward to being back at work again.

Here's a glass of eggnog raised to all of you in hopes that everyone has a great weekend.

Congrats HollyJells! Good luck with your new job!!

I love Step Into Christmas!!!

Cherylle in CA

We've all made it! Now put on that Christmas tune or movie and Step Into Christmas!!! The Season is upon us. There is no better time of the year than The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
