I just turned on my air conditioner. :-? It's too hot in my house. My air conditioner will be on tomorrow too THEN Thanksgiving night it looks like the heater will be needed! cheesy

One more night until Thanksgiving, I went on my dinner break and got JP the toy he wanted more than any other for Christmas the dragon Night Fury from How to Train Your Dragon, I can't wait to see his face on Christmas morning when he opens it.

Tomorrow....the day I have waited for!

This afternoon around 5ish....wifey said let's stop working on the house....go get groceries and let's start relaxing and having fun for Thanksgiving....

Man, I love that woman!

So off to WalMart we went...got home and put away the groceries, plugged up the new range....and tomorrow the cooking starts bright and early around 6ish....

Around noon, I will put up the tree and we will decorate tomorrow night after everything gets done. We plan on watching the Scrooge animation with Carey. We usually watch The Polar Express, but we will watch that, too!

I can't wait to see y'all tomorrow! Hope you have as good a day as I plan on having!

kandice is sick once again...been coughin all night....got a doctor appointment at 11:30am with her....now she is watching some cartoons and relaxes a lil from the hard night.

This is a good morning I am feeling way better, only slightly unbalanced (the feeling when you stand up too fast and get a rush in your head - but constantly )! Today finished of the last essay/translation before the exams, so can focus on the exams and christmas now!

It is going to get up to 81 degrees tomorrow!

Good news is, Thanksgiving high temp will be 49 and start dropping throughout the day!

Going from 81 degrees all the way down to the lower 40's in 24 hours!

Is that normal for where you live? sounds pretty extreme to me!!

Yep!!!! I stopped at the store today and got my mom the cd I couldn't find yesterday and then I came home and finished wrapping. Now I just need to get the tree up so I have something to put them under.

wow that's great! when will you get your tree up?? I have to get my boyfriend a gift, but i'm afraid he'll buy it himself... but i can't wait till last minutes, because i've got exams going on, AND i have to order online... :S

PS furnace still not working, but it is actually not bad in here, hope I can say that in the morning!!!

I just wanted to say, in honor of Thanksgiving, I am thankful for you all! MMC is like a cozy, warm home with a big fireplace and friends always around.... and this home is always sparkling with beautiful Christmas lights! Thank you for being such great Christmas friends!

Is that normal for where you live? sounds pretty extreme to me!!

VERY normal for Texas weather! This is how are fall/winter weather is. We can get very warm then down to freezing weather within 24 hours.

One year I was at an outdoor birthday party wearing shorts and got a sunburn. That night it starting snowing and all the schools closed down the next day.

Our summers are predictable. IT'S HOT all summer long! We never get a break.

Lol! As I type this the weather lady is on and said, "typical Texas weather".

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!! It has been a sad morning here. I woke up and turned on the news to see the main building at the boy scout camp I use to work at on fire. I sat here and watched it burn for 2 hours. The only part of the building that is left is the chimney and some framing here and there. The good thing is that there was no one in the building at the time. Today I have to go with my sister to the north side of Indy to take my oldest niece to a neurologist appointment. Then I have to go back to her house and get the turkey ready to go in the oven tomorrow morning. The weather here is going to be terrible the next 3 days. They are calling for rain to start in about an hour and not stop until sometime midday on friday. I might need a boat to go shopping on friday. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

when will you get your tree up??

It will go up on friday. I wanted to put it up last weekend but mom was home and wouldn't let me. All of my other decorations are out I just need the tree to get it all finished.
