WoW!

Xmas Eve just a few short days away, can't believe it!!
Finally, just finished wrapping last night.
Already had XMas with my inlaws this past weekend.

Time to bake tonight for friday night's family event.

Can't wait for Xmas vacation starting end of day Thursday then off right until Jan.
Only two more work days this year!!

Not sure how often I will get a chance to log on in the coming few days.

In case I don't get another chance, I wish an awesome Xmas and Holiday season to all.

Cheers!!

ML

I did not get my license today. When doing the back up portion I hit one of the pylons, not even while backing, I did it when pulling forward to get ready for the back up that I did correctly! If not for that I would have passed.
But, look out next time!
Better luck next time! I will say a prayer that all goes perfect next time around. =)
Good evening,

I am getting so excited right now, two more shifts until vacation and Christmas! My wife is sick again she already called out for tomorrow, she just wants to be healthy for Christmas, JP did excellent at his Christmas concert today, he was so cute singing and performing with all the other kindergartners. I have helped out on the path to 300K just been doing post after post.
Also, I heard my local AHL hockey team the Springfield Falcons is staying put they found a local buyer, there was rumors they were moving at the end of this season, but I am happy my boys will be able to see minor league hockey like I did growing up.

Have a great night!
I hope she gets better soon!

I am glad the concert went well. =)
oh my man just passed his driver s license exam...so he is now allowed to drive...when he left with the car i told him that i feel as scared as a mom of an 18 year old who is going out for his first drive lol
Congratulations!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! Today is my moms first day of vacation so I think she plans on having me taking her to the north side of Indy to so some shopping. It is also her birthday so I plan on taking her out to lunch and then my sister is having everyone out to her house for dinner tonight. It is going to be a busy day so I should probably start getting ready to head out. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I have been going non stop for 14 straight days without a break. Yesterday I did not have the grandkids or have to work so I was trying to get lots of chores done. By the time 2:00 pm hit I was wiped out! I tried to push myself until 4:00 pm then gave up, laid in bed and watched 2 Christmas movies back to back and was asleep by 8:00 pm. I never can watch 2 movies in a row without getting up moving around some but I just laid there. I didn't wake up until 7:00 am this morning. I got a lot to do today. I hope I stay energetic all day today. =)

I hope you all have a wonderful day today! :rudolph:

I am feeling really down since not passing my test and having a real struggle with my nerves too at the thought of doing the test again. I know I can do it, just the disappointment I guess, kind of hard to put into words. I am feeling kind of like Charlie Brown, only I got lots of Christmas cards! I will be home again tonight so maybe I will feel better then.

I am sure you will do great the second time!!!!!!! cheesy

Hey all. Chilly here this morning. It is a balmy 43 degrees. I can not believe Christmas is SATURDAY, where has this year gone? I had to wash my tree skirt yesterday because Peanut got sick all over it, thank goodness the prezzies were all in a box and didn't get kitty yack all over them. LOL!!!!

My sister got her package and like a boob, she opened it. GRRRRR!!!!! They both like what they got. Might put a toy in there for their cat, TIger next year. I baked a bunch of cookies the other night and they are almost all gone. Mr. HJ said the cat has been eating them LOL, unless the cat has opposable (sp?) thumbs that is so not happening!!!

I am hoping for snow on Christmas but according to the weather forecast we aren't supposed to get anything. But why can't I wish, right?

******* CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY #40 *******

Good Morning, Almost There Friends!!

Days to Christmas Day: 3 (UNDER HALF A WEEK!! So close I can taste the eggnog!)
Yes, my friends, we are so very close to Christmas 2010.
(It came so soon can Christmas Season 2011 really be so far behind?)

Hey! Warmer this morning. We are actually in the low 40's to start off and could reach 50 by this afternoon with no precip.
There is still the chance of some light snow for Christmas Day.
Would be Raleigh's first white Christmas since 1966 (when there was barely 1" on the ground).

OK!
Carl and the Shispering Pines are ready!
Here's a run down on what Carl tells me:
Beautiful greenery with pine cones and candles for each table.
Holiday themed table cloths.
Garlands and red bows everywhere.
Christmas music playing (of course!).
Screenings of "It's a Wonderful Life", "Miracle on 34th Street", "A Christmas Carol" (the Alastair Sim version, of course) "White Christmas" and "Holiday Inn" (Carl's favorite!).
Naturally a giant tree in the middle of the dining room, traditionally decorated.
Complimentary eggnog and Christmas cookies.
Oh! And snowglobe door prizes!

Sounds wonderful, doesn't it? (Right Holiday?)
If there is one don't miss event this year, this is it.
(There are rumors Carl will have a green garland with red bows running from hump to hump to hump, but that is unconfirmed)

Hope to see ALL of you there!

Have a simply WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY, Everybody!!

Wow, you guys in the Carolinas have cool temps. It actually warmed up as the night went on last night, and it was pushing 60° at 7:30am. LOL!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We went out last night for my company Christmas party. We ate at one of those Japanese places that cooking in front of you, and had a great time! The food was wonderful, too.

Then Nancy & I went shopping. We got home at 1:00am. Ugh. And she accidentally left one of our packages at a checkout counter in Macy's in Savannah. We know one of the sales associates there, so Nancy is going to call them this morning. Hopefully, they still have it.

We're going out to look at Christmas lights tonight. I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Kerstig,
Good luck to you on your exam. One of my third graders gets tense when she does multiplication, but she calms herself down by putting her two hands at the top of her head and bringing them down like she's caressing her hair and says, "I am going to my happy place now." She is so cute! So, go to your happy place and do well. Let us know!

Even though lots was posted last night, not a lot was posted here :P

You are so lucky! I miss the snow. We don't get any here, but we sure did when I was a kid. It sounds so Christmassy at your house!

Whoo Hoo!! I just looked at the weather forecast from NOAA and the chance for snow on Christmas Day here has gone from 20% to 60%! I haven't had a white Christmas since I was a very little kid. Even if the snow doesn't stick it will be nice to see it coming down for a while. That plus gift wrapping, eggnog drinking, cookie baking, good smells in the house,Christmas lights in the neighborhood and all those Christmas cards....this really is the most wonderful time of the year!!:):)

At least in your heart you know you can do it!!! We are all pulling for you! When do you take the test again?

Sounds like a wonderful night, Brad! Even tonight! My half hour walk home a couple nights ago really made me smile. Seeing all those Christmas lights definitely makes the time fly by. Hard to believe that they will all light up the entire world in just two more nights!

Omg is jayish here?

Yabba

I'm here!!! Three days away from the BIG day...A REALLY fast year, this one...Have taken a break from all Christmas all the time to watch all of the Harry Potter movies this week in preparation for the Mrs. and I seeing the new one late Thursday night...One more thing to be obsessed with...Looking forward to a GREAT three days of eating and having fun Friday, Saturday and Sunday with various and sundry family members and friends...It has been a fabulous Christmas Season for me...Makes up for the crappy year that 2010 was I guess...

Keep the spirit in your heart, and it's Christmas EVERYDAY!!!

You know, I was just thinking! I know, I know--dangerous for me!! But we only need 759 posts to hit 16,000 on Christmas Countdown. Now that would mean approximately 380 post for each of the two days before Christmas; or 259 per day if we extended it to all day Christmas! Whadya think? How about you, HollyJells???
