it is not my thing....it used to be a tradition in looots of German homes....we used to put it up on the23rd....I guess it is some type of building up for the children...and keep it more special...
I personally love my christmas tree and want to look at it as long as possible....and the trees are so expensive....it has to pay off
Looks like I missed the party! Haha
Well I can't believe it's already Christmas Eve. December flew by, and sadly, I feel like I never got in the Christmas spirit. I don't know why I never did but it bums me out. Hopefully we'll get some more snow, maybe that'll help.

It's gonna be a long one in my house. All my kids stayed up to count down to Santa's launch time. It is a little past 1am my time and they're all still up. That means they will be late getting up tomorrow, then going down tomorrow....[sigh}...they don't sleep really on Christmas Eve anyway.

Christmas Eve day! I am totally excited! But first of all, I'm going to do my exam, hope my Christmas painted nails, my christmas underwear and my christmas earring (and of course my love for Christmas) will bring me luck today!!

Its christmas eve!!! How excited am I! The kids have been dancing round the living room shouting "santas coming tonight"
I have so much to do today its unreal, I also am at work this afternoon for a couple of hours so its all go for me today. Just having a coffee and browsing my favourite website before making a start.

Whoo Hoo!!! Christmas Eve is finally here with a forecast of snow for today and tomorrow! I am so very excited! Me and the boys will be baking cookies for Santa today and making hot chocolate and apple cider for ourselves. Shopping is done,gifts are wrapped and I am cooking a small Christmas dinner today for the house. We are going to my best friend's house tomorrow to celebrate Christmas Day with a barbecue mixed with traditional fare. Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Be blessed and be safe!!

Christmas Eve really is here! Hurray! I'm already baking 10 loaves of bread and it's only five a.m. How will everyone else be spending this special day?!?
