Christmas Countdown - 2011

I found some stuff in Winners, but nothing in the mall was decorated yet.

My friend BBM'd me a photo of a Christmas display from Pier 1. I may add it to my Mobile Uploads on facebook and post it on here in a bit! Obviously, I did not experience it, but she was also excited to see it!

well the gamecocks won today & then i had a nice evening outside w/ hubby, both sons, their girlfriends/ fiance, my brother in law & all our animals. made a fire had hot dogs & smores & listened to music. just came inside & wanted to catch up from earlier on here. i am thinking of you all & praying for you!!

It's getting closer!

It's the 15th of October, and today I viewed the first Christmas decorations on a commercial enterprise, it was hung directly under the business sign. It also happens to be a business which has some form of creativity which it offers to it's clientele, it was a Nail Salon.
There it was in all of it's noticeable glory, blueish silver garland with LED exterior multi-coloured lites, with red and white heart shaped ornaments, dangling, and swaying pretty mightly, I might add, in the wind.
I took a double take, I could not believe it! So the first thing I realized was, I had to take action and report it on this site! 7o days and counting people.
Oh oh oh....before I forget three weeks ago I took note of boxed Christmas Cards lined up on the shelves in a Coles Bookstore! I was going to take a picture with my cell phone, but realized my phone was cheap and the picture would have been wasted. Just take my word dear people.
Well that's it from Montreal, a city that loves the Christmas holidays!

Good evening/morning...checking in late - or early...depending how you look at it. Lol!

It has been a bad day here. 1st I got word that our friends Dad passed away. My hubby was at their house helping put on roof. He has been sick & this was not a surprise, but still sad. Less than an hour later I got a call saying that our friends 3 year old daughter was killed in a car accident. The parents (our friends) were out of town with her family celebrating her parents 50th wedding anniversary & the kids were with their cousin. Well of all people - an illegal immigrant whose drivers license has been revoked - pulled out infront of them, sending their 2 boys to Childrens hospital (but they are going to be ok) & killing their little sister. My heart is heavy tonight! We really do need to count our blessing every day & ENJOY every minute with our loved ones!

Speaking of - tomorrow my hubby's family is coming over to celebrate my inlaws 40th wedding anniversary. I'm really looking forward to it! I've been busy cleaning & cooking/making snacks. Now it's about time to call it a night! I'm tired!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!! It's going to be a bit warmer today in central Indy but it sounds like the strong winds we had yesterday may stick around. I don't have much on my plate today. (The Christmas Season arrival, that is.)
And a scant 10 weeks until Christmas Day.
(Better start thinking about that gift list.)

A coolish 51 degrees for our walk this morning but we should hit the mid 70's by this afternoon with no rain.
Will likely take my father out to the State Fair tomorrow (the warmest predicted day of the week).
The crowds will be thinner then, too.

Well you have a Super Sunday, Folks.
I'll be pulling for the Panthers as usual, but it's shaping up to be another bleak season for them.
Oh, well. There's always next year.

crown, we are also big panther fans!! we live in south carolina. hubby & brother in law were suppose to go to panthers/redskins game on 24th but hubby has to fly out the day before for work.my br.inlaw is a die hard redskin & will be turning 50 on the 29th so hubby thought it would be nice to take hime to game but it didn't work out. oh well we'll have to think of something else for br.in laws 50th.
