Busy day with mom's 80th birthday party tonight. Going to work on the cake this morning but thought I would pop in here first to day good morning since no one in the house is up yet to say it to. cheesy I know there is always someone hanging out here to say hello to.

Happy Saturday all!! I had a busy Friday, first of all I was late for work because a train was in my way. I have a few different routes I can take to work, but all of them cross railroad tracks somewhere. Well a very long and slow train hit the crossing just as I was getting to it. I had nowhere to go I had to sit and wait, I was 8 minutes late for work, which messed up my perfect attendance.:-?

Then when I get to work I find out the guy that works for we called in "sick". I know for a fact he wasn't sick because he told me he was going to take a sick day soon, I just didn't think he was gonna do it on a Friday which is our busiest day of the week.:-? Oh well I got through it OK, thankfully it wasn't as busy this time.

I finally made it here today, after getting up shoveling, and going to work in the snowstorm. It was a long day, and I will be going to bed soon I have to go back to work early in the morning. You all have been busy since I was last here over 140 posts since last night Wow! 24 houses still lit up tonight.

If I had a billion dollars...we would own our own race team....you got Hendrick, DEI, TGR, JGR...etc....we would be MMCr....Christmasstar would be the driver...Crown would be the spotter and "Countdown" the laps...Binger would fill the tank with coff...gas...Carl would drive the hauler...Made would be the Crew Chief....Brent would be studying....Seawaters, Superdave, Snow-in-Texas, and Christmas-A-Holic could be the pitcrew...Brad would be the team chef...Undertaker could be the team mechanic...I could go on and on....but I would be....at the concession stand eating nachos....

Cars on the track, Made...cars on the track...I'm excited.

Someone asked about shinybrite's name and this is why I like it I have one or two packed away somewhere, but Grandma have several boxes of Shiny Brite ornaments

I have a box of Shinybrite ornaments. Not a full box, some are missing and the ornaments are faded some.

Can we use your car to practice? I mean we have to change 4 tires and fill it up with gas in about 15 to 20 seconds, it usually takes me that long to loosen 1 lugnut! Of course I don't have one of those high power impact wrenches either. Oh and what about sponsership?

I want everyone to know that I just let my wife waste 30 minutes of her life...has anyone ever heard of Jersey Shore? That is such a waste.

Ok, I kept hearing about this show so I thought I would tune in to see what all the hype is. I suffered a whole 10 minutes and couldn't take anymore and had to flip the channel. :lol:

They do have a large fan base but just not my type of show.

wANT TO know what my biggest fear is in regards to Christmas Lighting?Im am afraid that the incandescent mini twinkle lites are going to obsolete. To date , I am not a fan of LED lights, I hope i haven't offended anyone but saying that. It seemed that this year there were tons of Led lights on the shelves. Im afraid they are going to take over. Look at some of the lites of the past that are now obsolete. Bubble lights etc. C-7 S are still around but certainly not in the volume of other types. Maybe my fear is not based in reality . It was just a thought I had this past holiday season.

I have the same fear. I am not a fan of LED and really wish I could like them. I am like you and into vintage ornaments. I love them!

Good morning, Christmas Family

It is COLD today here (-2 degrees). I am not doing much, not planning on going anywhere. Plan on having a fire in the fireplace and will probably start taking down my tree....:sad: Still, I know it can't stay up all year....In my childish mind I think it is tired and wants to rest.......so I will take it down and let it rest until November....That just seems SO far away..........:-?

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is freezing outside right now but we are supposed to get up to 22 this afternoon. My plan for today includes watching nascar practice online and then the Barrett Jackson car auction after practice. I will also try to get some more cleaning done while I am watching.
