Thanks! Oh and Brent - I loved your post as well, too! Christmas with my grandparents was the best. What great memories I have. All my grandparents have since past. In fact, my paternal grandfather passed when I was three, the day after Christmas, so I don't remember really anything about him and then my paternal grandmother passed Christmas Eve. Christmas is really hard for my dad, but we just try to make it really special for my dad, now especially since there is 4 grandbabies for him to enjoy!

I tried to get my sister to name my nephew Dale.

I wonder why?!

So the Pizza Hut delivery lady shows up 10 minutes after I talked to Pizza Hut and said that she was out with my delivery already and it takes only about 5 minutes to get to my house from Pizza Hut, I pay her and she leaves. I open the box and it hardly looks done. My sister and I bit into the pizza and you could taste how chewy the dough was. We're probably going to get sick now, great! :sad:

Ordered Pizza Hut 45 minutes ago and they said it would only take around 30 minutes to deliver. I am starting to get a little testy...

why would you eat it then??? I would have called them again and got it fixed. Call them again anyway and let them know. Hopefully you will be ok.

Haha - I said the same thing to my sister. I think we were just so hungry by then that we did. I am usually a person to complain if something isn't right, but I just didn't tonight. I guess I am in the Christmas spirit? Oh well...they got off this time! Thanks!

Just waking up from a nap...it's getting dark it would be nice to just chill out the rest of the day in bed before the madness of Monday starts. Brandi actually put up all the christmas stuff while I was gone..that is someone helped her,it looks nice and I am glad it was done when I got home! I have been thinking alot the last week about the past...like I always do...about how scary life is if you really sit down and think about all the what if's and it really is best you don't know ahead of time about the ups and down of life. otherwise I would obsess over it anyways! like I am now...oh I think I am going to jump in the jacuzzi!! have a good evening everyone!

((((Neal)))) I know how you feel. Yes. Life is scary and I myeslf tend to obssess a lot about the "what ifs"....but you know what ?? Obssessing doesn't change anything. What will be will be. It took me a long time to realize this and sometimes I still obssess about the future (in fact it terrifies me) but since there is not anything I personally can do about it I pray to someone who can help xoxo We are so alike, you and I....You could be my son !! that is how alike we are!! Now THAT is a scary thought for you !! xo

I see the Santa Clause is on... I have to admit I have never seen it...not a big Tim Allen fan,but I have it tivo'ed so I can fast forward it. Can everyone believe that thanksgiving is 12 days away? It seems the year is spent waiting on fall/Halloween and once Halloween passes it just goes by so fast. I heard from my mom tonight,and said Dad is awake and will hopefully get out of ICU tomorrow. Then he will start working with a physical therapist. My dad was in great shape,watched his diet,and looked so good for his age,,,his problem is plain ole genetics. he was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure ate age 35...same as me... so this is a warning to me..but still if he took care of himself and still had a stroke..what is the use anyways..I am sorry for being like this tonight...Hopefully tomorrow when I get back in the swing of things I will be back to normal! Meanwhile I have to wash tons of clothes...watch some Christmas movies...and chill the rest of the night...I hope everyone has a great evening!

Why shouldn't you feel like this ?? We all TOTALLY understand. You are being HUMAN.....I just know everything is going to be okay....but we are your Christmas family and we are here for you..so vent away and say what you feel......That is part of being family ((((HUGS))) to you and your mother and father and your forthcoming son. That is so WONDERFUL !!!!!!! Yessssssssssssss !!!!!!!

Okay so I just checked my local 15 day forecast..and we are suppose to be like in the 80's al the way through the end of Novemeber! 20Degrees above average for this time of year..maybe it's too early to panic,but this is turning out to be a warm warm fall. I looked for the Forecast in the pacific NW and it's the opposite..so at least it will be seasonal when I am up there next week. I could see the snow in the mountains.ALthough it snows where my folks live it's more rain storms in the winter. they live in a valley but there is ski resort 2 hours away. I hope to go when I am up there if I have the time. Oh and we are 7 weeks away from baby due date... we have decided on the name... it's going to be Jordan after my father in laws middle name. I really have a feeling he is going to make an early arrival...talk about nervous!!! next weekend is the baby shower and we have already finished the room. I hope I remember everything I learned in class!! I don't get queezy easy so I don't worry about passing out or anything. does that really happend in real life I wonder or it is just on tv!! Have a good night everyone 4 am comes awful early!

Another Monday on the way. A four-day week for me ... I scheduled Friday off so I can sleep late, write cards, wrap gifts, shop, or whatever needs doing. It may not be a relaxing day, but it'll get a few things out of the way so I can enjoy the season later!

What happened to that 30-minutes-or-it's-free deal? :-o

Do any of the pizza delivery chains still use that policy? I thought I heard that the company that did that abandoned that policy because their drivers were getting into too many accidents trying to make the deliveries on time so they wouldn't be penalized.

Good Evening Christmas family !

Gosh ! What an awful first day of the week at work. Very little radiology then goober city. Oh well. By the grace of God I got through it !!

Still kind of reeling about not being able to adopt that puppy. Bulldawg, you talk about obssessing ......well meet the Queen of Obssession !!

I will get over this but it really hurt. I don't understand why though. I didn't even know the puppy, had never even held her but I felt like I was going to be her "mommy". I am so crazy.

Anyway. Someone in our Christmas family told me (and I don't remember who it was) that maybe it worked out like this because there is going to be one who REALLY needs me. I would like to think that. My life is nothing if I don't share it with animals and take care of them.

I am listening to Music Choice Sounds of The Season. Eddy Arnold is singing Winter Wonderland. I started making out my Christmas cards and I already got one !! Thank you ((Ravenhardt)) !!!

Glad yot dad is getting of icu. at least he is going the right way..hopefully he can overcome this and get better. am sure it will not b easy. you never know what is in front of us from one day to the other and if you sat and thought about it. you wood go mad..

Fell asleep at 8 pm and am only woke about 15 minutes
think it was to do with the fact that i was not in bed the night befour to 5.30 as i was on mmc for the start of the season..
so gonna get the 2nd cup of tea and wondering it i should try and get some more sleep or stay up. i feel like staying up
