Good evening,

Another long turkey filled day, my body is just buzzing from exhaustion. I did have a customer come to my associate and I and said I am looking for a big turkey, I responded to him by saying you found the 2 biggest turkeys in the store. Got a pretty good laugh from him.

have a good night!
Ha ha! Good one!

Turkeys need rest too. Don't wear yourself out. =)
Please say a prayer though, if you could, for DJ. He had his follow up one year PET scan to check and see if he is still Hodgkin's free. The only thing is that a couple months ago he discovered a lump in his breast. The doc does not seem overly concerned about it but I am. He will get the results back on the 22nd.....Any prayers will be so appreciated xo
Will say a prayer. I hope everything will be ok!
OK, I haven't been on here in a while, had some computer issues. Well we had our Thanksgiving feast at work today. My boss deep fried a turkey, if any of you haven't tried that yet IT IS AWESOME!!!! We also had ham and mashed potatoes and green bean casserole and apple and pumpkin pies. The only bad thing was that we had to go back to work afterward.
Thursday you will be home with me and no work after eating! =)
Well, I'm all packed. Taxi is coming at around 5 and I just need to take out ALL the garbage (emptied out the fridge on food that could go bad), brush my teeth and put on my make up, unplug everything.....that's it!

I'm bringing my list of passwords with me so HOPEFULLY I'll be able to sign on to MMC this week.
Have a safe trip and have fun!

Today we are putting up our outdoor lights! I noticed a neighbor across the way has their Christmas lights up. I was so happy to see that!

I told you all about my 21 year old son surprising me by putting up the Christmas tree. Now my daughter is getting in the Christmas spirit more than I have seen from her in years. She loves Christmas, don't get me wrong, but she just doesn't do it up big like me. She has 3 children and just doesn't seem to be big on Christmas like I was with them when they were little.

Yesterday she was talking to me and said her and her daughter watched 3 Christmas movies and then went onto talk about other stuff. I said, "wait, did you just say you watched 3 Christmas movies"!?!?!? She said, "yes, I was remembering how I watched them with you mom when I was little and wanted to do the same for her".

I also tell her every year to make sure they watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade so the kids can see Santa come by. That always kicks off the Christmas holiday for me when I see Santa in the parade. She turns it on but she goes off and does her own thing. This year she plans to come over and watch the parade with me! We all get to watch Santa together like we did when she was little! I get a little goofy and cheer when I see Santa at the end of the parade. Wayne just laughs but it's ok, I'm having fun! =)

My daughter did thank me last year for making a big deal of Christmas with my grandkids. I have my grandkids talking about Santa all year. =)

I hope everyone enjoys their day!

Good Start-of-the-Last-Weekend-Before-Thanksgiving, Folks!

Rise, shine and smell the cranberry sauce.

And hey! While you're at it, take a look at the Blossoms thread.
Things are really hopping there! Lots of new photos have just been posted by our own talented photographers.
Check them out!

Check this out, too:
Days To Thanksgiving Day: 5 (Wow! So close!)
Days to Christmas Day: 36 (Five weeks from tomorrow!)

Allrighty-O my good Christmas Comrades.
You have a Stupendously Sensational Saturday, secure in the knowledge that Christmas Season 2011 is just around the corner and coming up fast!

(Think I'll head out to Crabtree later today and snap a few photos of the big guy in the red suit who always seems to appear about this time of year!)

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a mild day here in central Indy with a high close to 60. I am dragging this morning. I slept good last night but I am still just exhausted. I have to much stuff to do today though. I'm going shopping with a few friends this morning and then I have to go out to my sisters house to pick up the stuff I ordered from my niece's school fundraiser. Then it will be back home to fix dinner for my neighbor's birthday. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning! Just waking up and getting going. It's cloudy outside and my leaves are still changing! I'm leaving out monday for a week for thanksgiving,Brandi is leaving then too to go to Boston to her folks, then we will both be back next sunday. I spoke with my mom and dad,I actually understood alot of what he was saying yestersay they told him that his estimated disharge date was decemeber 3rd which is great,I was terrified he would be in there at Christmas! He kind of mumbles when he talks but he is doing alot better than he was 2 weeks ago! Have a great day everyone!

If you don't mind me asking, but who has passed away? I am very sorry you have to go through this, on top of your dearest parents accident. Nothing but love and happy thoughts flowing from me to you at such a hard time :(

It was a friend's mom....thanks for the happy thoughts!!!

Just found out my bro in law is frying out turkey this year..I love fried turkey and it's been a while since I've had it,but I think this is the same bro in law that fed us what amounted to pork rhinds when he overcooked it in 1998. Luckily we have so many side dishes it was not a disaster.. I can tell the roads are already getting busy with holiday travel too,I noticed it around thursday! have a good day everyone!
