Stopping in for a very late evening "Hello!"

We are nearly at the 18th of December. How the days have flown by. Tomorrow evening at this time, I will be home in Sault Ste. Marie for the Christmas Season... Barring any flight delays, of course! I am really hoping for a safe and stressless flight!

This evening, Kim and I visited Parliament and enjoyed the Christmas lights and decor. I have attached a couple photos below. Others can be seen in the Christmas Blossoms thread, too!

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a wonderful time. I don't have much time to peruse the forum at the moment. Hopefully I can stop by before my flight tomorrow. But, it is a busy day!!

******** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 36 ********

A chilly Good Morning, Folks.

Brrrr!
Just below freezing here in the capital city.
Calm, though, with no rain prediction, and it should be a sunny day.

OK, now!
Wow, are we ever getting close.
The ONE WEEK mark!
Days to Christmas Day: 7
My goodness! Fifty-Two weeks down to ONE!!
(The approach of Christmas is as inexorable as it is inevitable!)

Well, Sirs, Madams and Indeterminates - enjoy the last half of your last weekend before Christmas Eve.
Have the Superest of Sundays!

One week to go!

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

I spent most of the day and evening in the malls in Saannah with my wife & kids (oh yeah, and my bossy sister in law) yesterday. they were packed!

Today, after church, I plan to have dinner at my mom's, then go out & shoot down some mistleltoe...I'm such a redneck! Later, we have a party with Nancy's dad's family. Should be fun!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I'm trying desperately to get my Christmas spirit. I can feel it there, just peeking round the corner but I think it's reluctant to make it's presence felt until we have a living room!!!!

I hope your husband gets the painting done so you can find your christmas spirit!!!!

Still no snow here in Indy.:-? They just showed on the news that we had received 11 inches of snow at this point last year but this year we've had less than an half inch.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! It's going to be a cool one here in central Indy. We will start warming up tomorrow and then the rain will move in tomorrow night. I'm going to be a bad boy and skip church today. Today was going to be our family cookie baking day but I don't think we are going to make many cookies. Instead we are going to make up a bunch of meals that can be frozen to take over to my sisters neighbor. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

CAH- My sister has a dishwasher so you don't have to worry about heading this way after work. You can come back up tomorrow though and help me look for a new christmas tree if you want!!

You're welcome, 'Star! It was very festive. Cold (-15c), but very well worth it!

Good morning, everyone!

Happy one week until Christmas! The Season is closer to the end than the beginning, however, the Christmas Spirit remains at an all-time high (at least it does for me)! Aside from photographing some sights around Parliament, which is only a 10 minute walk from my home, yesterday evening, Kim and I also watched Elf. We had watched the first half of it way earlier in the Season, but decided to watch it again, in it's entirety, last night. It never gets old. Quite hilarious and it always makes me feel very good inside!

As I mentioned yesterday, I fly out of Ottawa to Sault Ste. Marie (with a layover in Toronto) today at 6:30. With the exception of a few things, I am all packed and ready to go! It will be just over three hours of traveling time. It will be nice to not have to take the midnight bus and sleep in my own bed - rather than a cramped Greyhound chair.

I'll do my best to pop in throughout the day and see how everyone is doing, but I'll see what I can do. After all, it is also NFL Sunday. Thankfully, I based my flight around the Packers game... I don't have to leave for the airport until about 4:30!

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone! We are only a week until Christmas. One week from today, we will all be gathered around the Christmas Tree enjoying the most magical morning of the year. I can wait. This final week will be magical, too. And now that I have the entire week off, I would love for the week to slow down and allow me to enjoy it to the fullest. Christmas will soon be here!

I hope you bag your limit. Do you have to have a hunting license for that???

Well, we have arrived. One week til Christmas...sure to be a blast....

This week....we get out of school, there is a big cooking day coming up, we attended a Christmas party last night and one more tomorrow night, Darlene Love is coming on, my brother is coming home....I could go on and on.....

but I'm about to watch a Charlie Brown Christmas!

Merry Christmas, friends!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is frosty here in northern California, but, obviously, there is no snow in the forecast. Hubby is in the kitchen cooking breakfast: raisin bread toast; eggs scrambled with onions, mushrooms, and cheese; hashbrowns cooked in garlic olive oil; and, of course, coffee.

Brent, loved the pictures.

Judesmama, Happy belated birthday.

Made, you are doing such a wonderful service to your neighbor. As Brad would say, "Bless your heart."

Mo, maybe the Christmas Spirit is hidden in the paint and will soon permeate your walls!!!

Get well, all who are sick. Rest up, all who are tired. Sing some Christmas songs, all who are blue; because your mind cannot actually do two things at once, so if you are singing, you can't be blue; at least for a few minutes.

TTYL.

I laughed when I read you answer SW, I was going to ask him the same thing!

Good Morning, and blessed last Sunday in Advent to all! We're hosting coffee hour after church today. We're serving pita triangles and two kinds of hummus, sandwich pinwheels, bagels and salmon spread, cheese and crackers, deviled eggs, fruit, and homemade cookies. (Our church's coffee hour is more like "light lunch".) After coffee hour, it's the greening of the church, when it's decorated for Christmas services! Then in the afternoon, my granddaughter that lives in California will be over to bake cookies with me, and at six we're invited to a caroling party. Big doings today! I hope I can find a minute to catch up on the thread, but boy that's hard!

Have a wonderful day today, all!
