Only 59 posts to reach 3,000 for January!!!

My niece and her husband, Jules and Billy got rear ended leaving her mom and dad's last night...they figure who ever hit them was going at least 60mph...came right up on the car and slammed into them...flipped the car up on the nose, skidded into the ditch, back onto the nose and landed upside down...hit and run...they were both taken to the hospital via ambulance, Billy was discharged while Jules was getting x-rays and she was discharged around 11pm last night. Both ok, just really sore and tired. Jules couldn't sleep last night. My sister, Jules mom says that the police where there right away as they just happened to be going down the road. While they where at the hospital they saw a man handcuffed to a bed and a police officer saying something about an accident in Milton, Vermont
(where they live) so they are hoping the hit and run driver was caught.

I'm glad to hear that they were not severly hurt. I'll be praying that they heal quickly.

Is it wrong that I am shopping for a new entertainment center based on how many Santa's it could hold?

How awful! I'm glad they're okay, and I hope the police got the guy who did it.

This is the sort of thing I fear whenever I have to drive in the snow. Driving to work this morning, I was leaving plenty of space between me and the vehicle in front of me, in case I had to stop. However, the guy behind me was following so closely that in my rear view mirror I couldn't see his headlights or his hood, just his windshield. Thank goodness he didn't rear-end me. People drive like they don't realize that when there's snow on the road, it takes plenty of space and control to stop safely. Then there are the idiots who never push the snow off their car roofs, so that big chunks of snow eventually let loose and hit someone behind them. There's more snow due here tomorrow, and I'm praying that it starts AFTER I get home from work safely.

It sounds like a very practical consideration to me ... it makes sure your Santas will be where everyone can see them frequently!

Evening, my gosh,m that picture of the crash is extreme! I am thankfull they were not seriously hurt and that they make a full recovery soon!

Rudolph day is almost over here, infact by the time chat starts, it will be over here. The time difference means I will be on at 1am to join in, so I won't be on for to long as its very late, but I am very much looking forword to it! I can;t believe its the 25th of January already! Soon this month will be over!!

Of course not. It would be wrong if you didn't consider Santa first!

Yeah I would agree, its the first half of the month thats is the worst for me!! At least by next tuesday we will be in february, its amazing how the change of a month can change the moods of many! January always feels so down and gloomy!
