Christmas Countdown - 2011

I went out to the garage to get something from the freezer. The church's (down the street about two blocks) carrillons were playing Christmas music!!!
 
Well, our WILD party ended at 8:00 pm! Woo hoo! My daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren came over for their sparkling punch in plastic champagne glasses, ate snacks, did our countdown and popped off champagne poppers to ring in the New Year. Phew, I am partied out! :lol:

Now I am going to get on my jammies and go to bed shortly. We plan to watch some tv until we fall asleep. I need to get my nap in before the neighbors start shooting their guns at midnight and wake us up! I really get tired of these annual gunshots going off every year when they know it's illegal!!! Scares my dogs and makes me a bit jumpy not knowing if a bullet ends up through my window. It's not anyone living right by me but it's very close by! I expect fireworks (even though that's illegal here too) but not the dang guns!

I hope everyone is enjoying their New Years Eve or New Years Day depending on where you are at!

I had a shovel raised at me in Dallas once...could have been a hoe, I was too busy skedaddling that I didn't really get a good look at what was on the end of the handle.
