Christmas Countdown - 2011

How did I forget to mention this but we went to Dollar General yesterday and they had all Christmas merchandise marked down to 10 cents each. Regular price 50 cents to 35 bucks! Of course I didn't see the $35.00 items left.

We got 3 Christmas ornaments, 2 Christmas books, Christmas puzzle, Christmas toy, 2 Santa hats and 2 cinnamon scented Christmas brooms all for 10 cents each. I had no plans to buy anymore Christmas goodies since I have too much but some of this is going to my grandkids so all is good!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! It is going to be a snowy week here in central Indy. It is supposed to snow every day but wednesday. The good thing is that it will make it a little bit easier to walk around where the ice still is. The schools are worried that they may have to miss more time though. My plan for today is to clean my apartment and try to keep the sidewalk cleaned off. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

.....I listened to The Christmas Song by Nat and it calmed me right down and once again as always when I hear it I was 8 years old again with no worries at all.....

Ah! You've touched on one of the universal truths about the staying power of Christmas and its music. Who doesn't want to be whisked back to a simpler, happier time once a year -- if only in our dreams.

Speaking of dreams, I'm dreaming of a closer Christmas.

ONE WEEK FROM TODAY, GUYS!
That's right. Milestone #3, the one quarter Season mark, will arrive then, February 12!

Chilly and rainy! We stand at 38 degrees made all the colder by the rain which is supposed to continue all day.
It is predicted to be clear tomorrow however, and as our weather man said, "We should be able to salvage half the weekend".
(Well, a half is better than a hole)

I just got back from taking the dogs for a walk and the rain has stopped and it has warmed up to 60F it's still very cloudy but windy! this feels like March weather,I love it. We are suppose to get down to 35F tonight and the sun should finally come out tomorrow with a high of 49F..I'm going to enjoy it. I have a pot roast on the slow cooker and am going to read a good book today...hope everyone has a nice day!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is barely chilly here in northern California, so I now we are headed for sunny weather today. Oh, wait, that's what we had yesterday, too! I have plenty of stuff to keep me busy today, some things I have to do and some I want to do. I hope everyone has a great day!

GUESS WHAT?????

We have hot water in our bathroom. The sun and above freezing temps fixed our pipes. I had the faucets opened and suddenly a gush of hot water came out about 30 minutes ago and no busted pipes! cheesy
