Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is 53 degrees here right now and we are headed all the way up to 67. I don't have much planned for today. I am thinking about making some cookies this morning before I sit down and watch the nascar races this afternoon. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone remember these from the sixties? We had one when I was a kid and I found one a few years ago. I am thinking about putting up some how this year.

I have seen those before but never had them.

I'm home today with my sick daughter. I guess it's this stomach virus that's running around the school. She feels better this morning, but I'm going to let her rest a couple more hours, and if she feels better alter, she can go to school and I can go to work.

I hope she feels better soon!

JP is home from school sick today, he has a fever and he just feels cruddy, I don't feel much better myself. We may actually get in the 50's today, but I will be working at 1 so I won't be able to enjoy it much.

I hope he gets better soon. My grandkids have been sick too. =(

Good morning, Christmas friends. Well, the snow turned out to be the liquid kind; so I guess I won't be having a snow day, building a snowman, or making snow cream. Oh, well. Can't complain too much since I will be off all of next week. Then the week after, I get to do report cards. Big wooop! I hope everyone has a great day. I wonder where Brent is? Great to hear from Bing, and great to be so close to the 5,000 th post!

What part does Carl sing? Tenor, baritone, bass?

My little tree still in the window far as I can see nobody else has anything going on in town.

You know what? I actually still have a little tree set up in my living room. It was an accident and didn't realize it was there until a couple of weeks ago. It is blended in with a few other things I have out.

We are extremely busy going to the realtor, the project manager, picking out tiles, bathrooms, kitchens, deciding on this that... combining it with working is proving not to be easy! but I love my job! And I love working on the house, so I just have to find energy somewhere...

You have a lot of work to do. Enjoy putting your house together!

She is so sweet and so alert for someone who is barely 24 hours old! Looking around already, and what a grip! Loved visiting and getting to hold her for awhile. new babies smell so nice.

My granddaughter was VERY alert at birth. I was in the delivery room with all 3 of my grandchildren and out of all of them she was the most alert and most peaceful. She just let out a little wimper and that's it. She still is a peaceful baby! cheesy

Good luck and don't give up. Like they say, no pain, no gain. I have been preparing for my 4th mini-triathlon.

I still drive by a house that has their tree up and on displayed in a window. I love seeing it every night.

Sounds like our leader or as he says Chief Bottle Washer might be in the middle of some bad weather. Snow 60 mph plus winds lots without power hope all is ok with them.

Good morning everyone! Just waking up,and it's still dark outside so I don't know exactly what the day will bring in regards from the weather. However the forecast calls for a high of 76 and mostly sunny skies,I know it is very very foggy this morning!I work part of the morning,then I get to drive about 100 or 110 miles up the road to go visit another AFB and work there a few hours! and believe me last week made all the differance in regards to the weather between our 2 bases. After I was finished last week instead of coming home I drove THRU Downtown atlanta on I-75 which if any of you have ever done at the peak of rush hour know is a living hell,you move about 10 mph or it's a complete parking lot. it's not that it's such a big city,I mean san diego or London even seemed easier when I use to drive through them and it's not like you can take the bypass because it was even more clogged with 18 wheelers and everybody else who lives in the east and west suburbs!. it's because the drivers...well lets just say the drivers. it's like everything creeps along because of a wreck or someone God forbid is threatening to jump off an overpass bridge. or even worse on the nerves: it's bumper to bumber in all 16 lanes but its moving at 80 mph then it suddenly stops and your thinking "omg" it must be a terrible wreck ahead or someone DID jump.but no it was just 200 cars with fender benders from driving too close at high speeds!..but I was willing to go through all of that to see snow..and it paid off I got to see some! and now I am good to go. Sorry for the ramble I need my coffee! have a great morning everyone!!

I hope nobody from here lives in Atlanta and if you do I am sorry but I hate that town with a passion. And then there is the airport in Atlanta that I hate even more.

Morning all! Fav Canadians are all my Canadian friends here! lol. Too many to name. I even saw MY name in that list for some of you. You like me, You REALLY LIKE ME! lol reminds me of Jim Carey in the movie the Mask haha. Some of the snow is melting here. I never knew we had a driveway! LOL j/k. Looks like a storm is moving in monday bringing 10+ inches of snow. YIKES! Send me shovels everyone! QUICK! haha. I was watching Drew Carey last night. The Halloween episode where Drew dressed up as Mimi. LOL. back to work I go. Have a great day everyone! Oh William isn't sick. Its asthma. We are taking him back to the specialist to get more inhalers now. Sheesh!

Well I wish you had of if it's one of the older ones. I don't see in stores around here but you can order off the internet. Only thing is some on the internet are not made using smooth cardboard but with what I call packing cardboard and the look isn't the same. It has a very corragated look to it.

Well I say little mine is really 4 foot tall I just say it is little compared to the other one. I made a setting for it so that if fits up fills in the window good so all that drive by can see.

I can't beleive how much snow melted here last night almost same as gone. We had high winds as well here last night all night long was slamming the house waking me up off and on. We have a wintery mix of stuff moving back in Sunday around here but from what I see it appears to be the wet stuff not the frozen or white stuff.

Well the high winds from lateyesterday and now as I speak keep the temps up and the air moving to much for fog to form this morning so that is good. They say we will see 72 here today then reality sets back in some tomorrow as we see mid 50's then come Saturday we get back to normal temps again. Think I will do shopping today and hide rest of the weekend and do projects here. Might even send out a notice that reads to all Closed Till Nascar Is Over For The Weekend And Your Calendar Says It's Tuesday Again.

Does this happen to anyone else besides me? But seems like trash, toys, and what ever can always blow into my yard but can never blow back out of it. I have left neighborhood toy balls stay for days on end and there they will be still in that same spot. I mean hahaha kids even to lazy to go get them till I throw back in their yards again. You say hey here is your ball thats a foot and a half around and only 30 feet into my yard from theirs and they go "Oh we wondered where it was." They so crack me me up sometimes with their ways of doing and saying things.

Good Afternoon Everybody! It's another warmer day here in Maryland. It's supposed to be in the 70's tomorrow and no rain, so maybe I'll finally be able to put the yard decorations away.
