Good afternoon, everyone. It is windy and CHILLY here in northern California. I was cold all day and was glad I didn't have yard duty at school. I hear tell there are even better prizes coming up for lucky winners here on the countdown. I can hardly wait for the next one! Hubby and I are going to a dinner tonight at the Elks Lodge. The profits from the dinner, raffle, and auction will go for my pet project for crippled children. I sure hope we make lots of money. We have put together six baskets filled with goodies to take down for our contribution. Well, I have some work to do for the Elks before tonights' dinner. Hope to talk later.

My mother and I are going to join Bally's Health Club next week. We got to go today with a free pass and check it out.

We stayed up there for nearly 2 hours today and my mom was going full speed, better than me! She is in great shape for being almost 70 years old. She is always doing something to keep her in shape even if we are not at the gym.

My mother and I were members of a health club about 20 years ago and were very dedicated to it for 5 years.

I am glad to join up with her. It's good to have mother/daughter time together.

If you someday come to Massachusetts, be careful to hide your enthusiasm. There are t-shirts and bumper stickers here that say: "I Don't Brake for Yankees Fans." And a couple other slogans I wouldn't repeat in a public forum ... cheesy

Today is opening day at Fenway vs. the Yankees. GO SOX! (In spite of their 0-6 record so far, we still love 'em.)

Hello friends

It has been a good day...slightly cool but not cold. I'm off from both jobs tomorrow and I can't tell you how excited I am! I was very productive again today and am kinda wondering where all this energy is coming from! I hope it keeps up, I'm loving it, haha!

I've spent most of today watching the Law and Order: SVU marathon on USA...I'm sorely addicted and I'm nowhere near joking. I also found time to introduce my boyfriend to Archer, a funny spy cartoon on FX. Luckily he likes it just as much as I do! I also found out that PIA went home on American Idol! Someone tell me how THAT crap happened! There will be no girls left at the rate this is going! I'm wondering if the judges are sorry they used their save on Casey a few weeks ago!
