Good Morning MMC !

nice and warm here this morning. I am headed out to my truck to see where they will send me today.

Hope you all have a fantastic day!!!

Yuck 90 degrees, I am dreading the high 70's tomorrow, I dislike really summer.
I dislike summer as far as the heat goes. but I usually love spring.problem is this is too early for this I think. It is all what you are use too as well. I mean the 70F would be HOT for me if I had just spent an entire winter below 32F. Because I turn my heat on 77 and bundle up at that temp! so yes you would die down here I bet...at least the first year but I'd bet you would adjust after the first year.

Good morning everyone! fog is just rolling in here I see. On the way too work I was looking at the stars on now I can't see 50ft in front of me. One last day for a while in the low 90's today!!!! yesterday felt like june, no august! we are having scatterred stroms tonight then cooler tomorrow and getting up in the mid to upper 70's and lows around 50!! sounds good. its the time of the year for the power bills to go way up for me..I had budget billing which keeps your bills the same or pretty well the same year around...but my power co. eliminated that option which stinks! so my bills were like 175 or 200 in the winter..but I bet it will be like 500 in the summer...I have no idea but I will see how energy effiecient this house is like the Real Estate agent said it would be.Have a great Monday everyone!

We had 90 degree temps about 2 weeks ago. I do not like summer at all. We suffer financially every year with very high electric bills. No matter what I do to try and keep them down it just doesn't work! Our electric bill stays right about $100.00 during the winter and jumps up to nearly $500.00 in the summer. We don't even keep the house that cold. Blah!

Good evening,
My wife and I watched the movie Secretariat tonight, it was a good flick, my wife didn't know anything about the horse, lets just say she was shocked. I enjoy watching horse racing, but I don't gamble on it, I just love seeing how fast they move.

Have a great night!

My wife and I saw that movie too. I told her that I remember watching the Triple Crown that year, that horse was amazing. I was just a kid at the time, but it made me a Triple Crown watcher every year. I'm not a horse racing fan, but I do try to watch the Triple Crown. I grew up just about a mile from the Pimlico race track ( where they run the Preakness). We could hear the track announcer in my back yard, but I never went there, went by it several times, but never inside.

Good Monday morning!

I didn't get much sleep last night. There weren't any storms, but it was extremely noisy out - for some reason lots of animals were running past my window. It was too dark out to see what kind, but they sounded huge!

This morning I saw a fawn in the backyard and one of the feral tom cats was watching me drink my coffee. He is very talkative - you can track him as he meows his way through the woods and around the barn :)

Have a great day!

.....
Holy Moley, Made.
That thing is big enough to coil around all of Carl's humps with length to spare!

And with that slithery thought, I wish a new week Good Morning to one and all!

On we march into the 2nd full week of April and right along through our count:
Days to the Season: 216
Days to Christmas Day: 258
As of tomorrow, Folks - just 2 weeks off from the 1/3 Milestone to Christmas Day. Then we reach the 200-day Season window on the following day!

Overcast yet again here this morning where we stand at a very nice for mid April 62 degrees.
Despite the clouds, the weather service says we have a reduced change of rain today.

Well, I hope your week is off to a great start and that you have a Marvelous Monday, Friends!

I was a horse-crazy child the year Secretariat won the Triple Crown, and I still remember the experience. (And my mom telling me to stop talking about it when we visited neighbors!) I feel old when I see how faded and worn the film footage of his races has become.

All we hear is an occasional cat fight and dogs barking. I wish I could be surrounded by other animals too! cheesy

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a long weekend working in the yard, but it looks good! I finally trusted my son enough to cut my beloved St. Augustine grass, and he did a good job. I did all the string-trimming while he rode the mower, then I bought a trailer load of pine straw for the flower beds. And, man, it was hot, too!

We're talking about putting in a pool for the kids, while they're still young. It's an expensive luxury, but I can't help but imagine how much fun we could all have as a family. Anyone else have a pool?

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good morning!! The snake has me a little freaked out this morning!!! :o LOL! YUCK!!!

Brad - my hubby mowed our lawn last night too - and then he fertilized it. And it's been pouring down rain this morning. Looks like we'll be mowing & mowing & mowing... LOVE IT! :D

Hope you all had a great weekend!! It's Monday again...

I am right there with both of you. I used to love summer as a kid, but we lived at a boat landing then and I had no worries about electric bills, etc. Give the winter and fall!!

Same for me Xmas365. A lot of people think I'm crazy, but I prefer winter. I like sunshine, but don't like the heat. 20°C is maximum for me.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is overcast and chilly here in northern California. It is supposed to get up to 67 degrees today. Our soup last night was sooo good! Not very much was left over. I'm running a little late, so I will wish everyone a great day!

Good afternoon, everyone! It's a beautiful day here; 74 degrees and sunny. I'm going to go home and put the screens in!

Enjoy your day off, I have seen Archer and I am sorry to say I just could not get into it. :-( I am more of a Robot Chicken, South Park Fan.

I've found out it's a show that people either like a lot, or really dislike. There really isn't a lot of gray area, I guess. I love South Park and Robot Chicken too, so we're good. =D

I am SOOOOOO ready for that challenge! Bring it on!!!

Glad to hear someone else is an absolute fanatic like myself! cheesy

I definitely am a fanatic...my boyfriend and I both had very Beatles-crazy parents who passed their love onto us. I'm often sad that I missed the craziness that was Beatlemania...I would've loved to live through that!!!

The commercial that really moved me was a little over 15 years ago, but I still think about it. A dog in front of an open suitcase. He drops in his favorite toys slowly and sadly. He looks at a picture of his boy, softly touches it with his paw, and whimpers. He closes the suitcase, picks it up by the handle, and walks down the hallway of his home. He pauses before the door of a room. Inside is a boy glued to the TV set; he doesn't see his fur friend looking in. Sadly, the dog picks up his suitcase and walks on down the hall to the front door. His boy doesn't love him anymore, so it's time to find another home.

.

OH MY GOD.

I'm so happy I never saw that commercial because just even reading your description nearly had me crying. I couldn't imagine acting that way toward an animal I had, especially my kitty. While I don't get along with my boyfriend's dog much (he's a little big for my liking), I would never treat him badly. I can't stand animal ignorance/cruelty...it just makes me sick.
