So.....here is how our afternoon went....and this was unintentional....

At 5, we started watching Toy Story 3 and then ate supper...followed by Wizard of Oz...we watch this kind of stuff in the fall before Christmas movies....

Next weekend....one of the classics....The Ten Commandments...I can't wait....love that show...

Time for sleep friends....away to dream of coffee beans and Binger!

The weekend is over and I am getting ready to head to bed. I feel like I haven't got anything done this weekend and I know I won't be able to get anything done this week since mom is on vacation. I think she has somewhere she wants me to take her everyday this week. She has lived here since she was in middle school but she still doesn't know her way around Indy. So if you don't see much of me this week that is why. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's almost been 8 hours since someone posted here! That's rare!

Well, four day work week. The only thing better is a three day work week. I will take what I get though. Hope everyone has a happy and short week!

I have LOVED that movie since I was a child! We have it on dvd but I end up watching it on tv every year it comes on.

Have you noticed they always say, "Moses Moses". Ha ha! It's a serious movie but I wonder why they have to say his name twice through a lot of it?

It don't matter, great movie regardless! It's just something I noticed. cheesy

Monday is my favorite day of the week :D

Today is my 6th wedding anniversary and the 13th anniversary of being cancer free. So a pretty special day!

~Laney

A very happy anniversary to you on being cancer free and to you and yours on your wedding anniversary!!!

Good Fresh Week Morning, Friends and Christmas Neighbors!
(Hmmmmm...... Ever heard of a stale week?)

Rise, shine and greet the day with the beverage of your choice.
(Although if you have been thinking about switching to tea, there's no better time than now!)

Straight ahead to the count:
Days to the Season: 209
Days to Christmas Day: 251
And there you have it, Folks - SINGLE DIGITS to the 200-Day Season Milestone.
An tomorrow will see us just ONE week off from the 1/3 mark to Christmas Day.
Moving -- ever moving!

Speaking of moving reminds me of travel which reminds me of the first need for a countdown volunteer for 2011 as we will be traveling to the coast Wednesday afternoon.
Said volunteer will need to be prepared to run the count for 3 mornings - Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Any takers?
(We must not have a gap. Bad luck, you know.)

Sunny, calm and cool here this morning in the recovering capital city.
We are at 54 degrees currently, bound for the upper 70's by this afternoon and the low 80's tomorrow.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!
Enjoy your new week.

Good morning!

Last night I tried melatonin and I still didn't get a good night's sleep. I am so tired this morning! I will try it again tonight and hopefully it will work.

It is snowing out again - the truck is covered and there is a light dusting on the ground and tree limbs. It is only going to be in the 40s today - no wind, though, so it is going to feel much warmer than yesterday :D

Have a great morning!!!!!!!

You are SOOOOOO lucky to have your mom. Mine has been gone since 1992, and I still miss her to this day!

We, too, have a four-day work week. Plus my kiddos have cafeteria duty. Then we are off all next week for Easter break! Boy, do I need the time off!

I saw it when it originally came out!!! Not the actual commandments but the movie!!

I will have to admit that Monday is my favorite day when it is the beginning of days off. So this coming week, Friday and Saturday won't be my favorite at the end of our break. Go figure! How wishy-washy am I?

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is a gloomy, overcast day here in northern California. I finally slept so well that I didn't want to get up. But I gotta go in for four days and then I get 10 days off, counting the weekend. Oh, I forgot to tell everyone: I FOUND MY CAR KEYS!!!! And like Xmas365, I had quit looking with plans to find them next weekend. My husband and I went out of town this weekend. On one occasion when we had to drive from the motel to the Lodge I happened to look down and saw what I thought looked like a little light I have on my key chain. Upon further investigation, I shouted for joy! We only use the Honda when we do things socially out of town. We used the Honda the night we went to Red Bluff Lodge. My keys must have worked their way out of my pocket and in the section between the seat and the raised level at the door. I am sure y'all heard me yelling almost like a banshee! So Made and everyone else who helped in the search, thank you!!!!

And I notice that we are only seven posts away from 8,200. Whoever it is, I will tell you your prize when I get home from school. Hmmm. Wonder who it will be?

Had a bit of a Christmas moment just. I'm playing my guitar, and looking for a track to play next. I came across First Snow by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I had fun picking my way through it, whilst trying not to get over excited at the prospect of maybe starting my Christmas Planning already... I normally start properly around August.

I had to go into the kitchen and get dinner started in the crockpot: Italian chicken with garlic, oregano, basil, seasoned tomatoes, portabello mushrooms, onions, roasted garlic tomato paste and, of course, chicken. I will make basmati rice just before we eat. Only four more posts to go to reach 8,200.
