Good morning, Christmas friends. It is freezing here in northern California. Frost is on the ground and roofs, and ice is on all the car windshields. Oh, how I wish it would snow! But, alas, it is not predicted. Hmmm. Wonder if our predictions will prove false and it actually will snow? I can hope, can't I? I just noticed that I have some candy canes after my name! Yum!

Noticed on my way to work only one home had light up Rudolph and santa at the entrance to thier driveway and they had it lit up at 630 this morning. I was glad to see that but its sad that everything is down now. They took the lights down on the lamp posts in my town last friday. Hope everyone is having a good monday. It's so cold here and damp,typical January weather I guess.

Happy Monday, everyone! We're getting ready for some snow here. I guess the stores will be crowded later, with everybody buying milk and bread. Maybe I can sneak out during lunch and get my shopping done.

Oh, I am too excited tonight. They are forecasting 4 to 7 inches of snow tonight with an additional 1 to 3 inches tomorrow!! The whole town is shut down for tomorrow already and this is the most snow that we have had in this town at one time since 1988! I've got my snowman making gear all laid out for tomorrow and I've got my hot chocolate ready. Since this kind of snow only happens every 23 years or so around here I plan to enjoy every minute of it! Have a great night everybody and an even better tomorrow!!
We have some freezing rain here now. I almost slipped on the steps into my office this morning!

The kids were bouncing off the walls when we got the automated message last night about school being cancelled today. My wife's office is without power, too. Too bad I couldn't be home with them today. :-?

It's COLD and ICY her today! My truck had a 1/4" of ice on the windshield this morning. It took 15 minutes before I could see to drive to work. That never happens around here.
School's out, Nancy is off work, and the ball games are cancelled this evening. It sounds like a good night for some chili!

Oh I agree! We have sunny dry weather april through october every day! at least last year,so when fall and winter gets here I LOVE cloudy cold weather!:rudolph:
We even have lots of sunny days all winter long. I am loving the cloudy cold weather!

Afternoon all! Its Monday again. We are creeping closer to the milestone! I purchased a new album on itunes yesterday. Well...new to me. Bobnoxious Ho Ho Ho. Metal Christmas. Anndndddd back to work I go! Busy busy day at work! have a good one everyone!

Stopped at Kmart on my way home, and picked up the Santa Claus pajama shorts, and while I was looking around they had a Transformer on the clearance shelf with no sticker I scanned it it came up to $3.00, I put it right in my carriage and bought it, can't decide to give it to JP for his birthday in 3 months or wait until Christmas, he is going to love it, and it usually sells for $30 so I think I did well. cheesy
Well, got back from a weekend in the NC mountains. Great family get together we do every year at this time. Whiteout conditions made it impossible to get down the mountain to go snow tubing on Sat. but the kids had a blast sledding on the driveway. This weekend officially ends our Christmas season..or so we thought. Woke up this morning to snow here and many inches expected. Most decorations are down but the tree is still up so I think we will plug it back in tonight because it just feels right. It will come down tomorrow.

I have had a hard time deciding what I want to do with the money given to me for my Birthday but I think I have decided on two things but will have to save some extra money to get them.
One is a Possible Dreams Santa kneeling at the Baby Jesus
and the other is a Thomas Kinkade Star tree topper that actually has Santa "flying" around the top of the tree.
I don't know if I can post the websites they are on and I don't know how to post the pictures in here, not to savvy with that.
