Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm still a little down in the old back, but I'm getting around. Work doesn't stop, does it?

It's a beautiful morning here, sunny & 70°, light breeze blowing through my office, cup of fresh ground coffee...just right!

My desk is a mess, with sticky notes all over it, and sunflower seeds scattered everywhere. I think I'll spend a little time today straightening up.

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good Morning, my near-peak-of-the-week Friends.
Rise, shine and smell the......
(Well, you know the routine.)

To the count without delay or lead ins, you ask?
Well speaking of......
<< CROWN! >>
Oh, OK.
Days to the Season: 194
Days to Christmas Day: 236
The 1/2 Season Milestone arrives in just 12 days.
(Wow! So close to single digits to the half-way mark. Incredible!)

Nearly calm here under sunny skies with a temp of 67 as I type this.
Should be clear today but rain is forecast for tonight and tomorrow.

You have a Terrific Tuesday, Folks.
And don't forget the big post bin Laden party at the 'Pines tomorrow!

I watched a Christmas movie last night that is a true story that had some very powerful moments that brought tears to my eyes. There were tears of joy and tears of sadness throughout the movie. Maybe some of you have seen it but if you haven't I highly recommend it!

Here is a brief description of what it's about:

Joyeux Noel: On Christmas Eve during world War I, the Germans, French, and Scottish fraternize and get to know the men who live on the opposite side of a brutal war, in what became a true lesson of humanity.

Sounds interesting!

And with this post, Xmas is poster #9,200. For his efforts, he gets three, yes, three, paint swatches: one in Christmas reds, one in Christmas greens, and one in Christmas whites! How cool is that!

Another nailbiter of a game but my Bruins pulled it out in overtime yet again, I love this sport, but it is so emotionally draining. Phewwww!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is sunny with no clouds in the sky, so it will get to some hot temps in northern California. State testing starts today AND I get a new student!! The results of the MRI: partial tear articular surface supraspinatus tendon, prominent systic enthesopathic changes superolateral humeral head, degenerative changes of the acromioclavicular joint, and glenohumeral joint effusion. Did you get all that? The doctor is making an appointment for an orthopedist for me. The MRI staff asked the doctor if I had had a shoulder dislocation in the past! Not that I know of! Hope everyone has a great day!

I've heard of this, but haven't seen the movie yet. Sounds like I should see it! The true story of what happened is so fascinating, I guess I've been wondering if a film could do it justice.

I remember seeing a story on the old "Unsolved Mysteries" about a young German boy and his mother during WWII. They took in a couple of lost American soldiers on Christmas Eve---then a couple German soldiers knocked on the door. The mother took them in, but made everyone leave their weapons outside the door. They all wound up celebrating Christmas together in spite of the language barrier and being on opposite sides. After he grew up, the boy wanted to find the American soldiers. He found one living in a nursing home in my old home county in Maryland!

Good heavens, I hope that's not as bad as it sounds in doctor talk!

Yep, a Chia pet, just not green though. My hair grows straight up and out, other names for my hair that are fitting, a q-tip, a shrub. I need gel to keep it down, and thats why I almost always where a hat. cheesy

HA I am in the same boat. When I was younger I had straight hair but it got wavy when I was a teen and now it's just down right curly. I shave it it every 2 to 3 weeks for that reason. when it's very short it's okay but after 4 weeks of regrowth it gets curly Everyone called me poodle.:(

McDonald's fries ARE good; but I've got some yummy tacos today. Yummy and messy-I need to bring an apron to work.

Wow I forgot to add tomorrow night we are getting down to 49F if that occurs I can gaurantee that will be the last time we see the 40's and probably 50's until late sept/early october. we always have a cool spell in the first of may..it's like a last little tease before it gets unbearable! There was times last summer when I went to jog at 6 am when it was still 80F outside and it was so humid the heat index was 88F that early in the morning. It's best to run around 10 am or 11 am after the humidity goes down.

Morning all! I loaded some Christmas music on my ipod the other day. Always nice to have it where ever you go. William had a bad night of screaming, kicking and smacking. We were up for just about the whole night.
Maybe he just wanted to listen to some of the Christmas music you loaded!

Good Afternoon MMC!

wet drippy day here in Ontario. Went out to the mall for awhile this morning with my daughter and found some discounted Easter chocolate that I did not need but bought anyway. cheesy

Hope you all have a fantastic day!

and remember...."everything is fine, keep shopping"

It was in the 30s this morning - can't believe it is May!

It is going to be in the 30's here overnight also. I love it!!!!!!

Good Heavens Seawaters !!! I am not a doctor but I DO know what all of that means. You MUST be in a LOT of pain. I sure hope you are feeling better soon !! A few years ago I had bilateral full thickness tears in both my rotator cuffs.....Never had surgery because I just could not afford the time off work. They must have healed themselves because they only hurt once in a while now.

I hope you can get all this taken care of and be on the road to recovery !! Big ((((HUGS))))) to you !!!

Oh YESSSSSS! They made that into a movie too and one of my absolute FAVORITES! The movie is called Silent Night starring Linda Hamilton. I paid only 5 bucks for it so you should be able to pick it up for a fair price. Linda is amazing in it and very convincing. I watch it several times a year.

I think with both these movies it goes to show you DO NOT need fancy expensive gifts to enjoy Christmas. They make it joyful without having to spend money and worrying about who wants what. It's all about being grateful and respect for one another. When it comes to Christmas, if no one exchanged one gift I would still have the Merriest time ever just being with others. They celebrate a joyous occasion during an awful war and have a nice time together.

Here is the movie: (I highly recommend it)!
