Why have I never gone to Byer's Choice?! It's sooo close to my house (as in, like 10-15 min away!) and open YEAR-ROUND! Christmas - all year - and FREE! My friend (who just joined the site and I hope will come chat soon! Hi Meredith!) told me about it yesterday and I am wondering what the heck has taken me so long to get there! Maybe I can go on Saturday as part of my Mother's Day?! :)

Oh and all of you fall lovers (aren't we all?!) - can I just recommend Kashi's Pumpkin Pecan bars?? Jude, my 3 year old, LOVES them and whenever I open the package, it smells just like autumn - love it!!!

We are watching "Old Martha Stewart," as he calls it. We have a bunch of Martha Christmas specials on the DVR and he LOVES to watch them. I think he likes baking more than any other 3 year old on the world - smart boy!

Good Morning MMC !

beautiful sunny morning here, looking forward to getting some gardens prepared for planting!!!!

Have a fantastic day everyone! cheesy

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Not much happened yesterday. After work I went to do some work on my business, then Nancy & I agonized over the pool installation. So many option...and every option is another $200! EEK! I've almost decided to dig a mud hole and bring in a garden hose. Whew.

Other than that, not much happening. I stopped by the store this morning for my daily sausage dog, and saw a lot of water in the street coming from Bernie's yard (he lives next to the store). So I had to turn off the water to the house and fix the line. I'll never get to work on time again. LOL!

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Bah, everything has a price, huh? What a pain but how nice will that pool be when we're all complaining about the 90+ degree weather?! Small price to pay for your sanity, hehe!

Sounds like our spare bedroom. I thought there is no way I can straighten it up but saw improvement after I worked on it. Great feeling!

Yes, it is a great feeling!

I am suddenly feeling extra "Christmasy"! I watched quite a few Christmas movies and shows the other day, some music today and shopping for Christmas dvds online.

What a great feeling to have the Christmas spirit before summer even gets here! cheesy

We have a frost advisory out for tonight though...and that's just crazy!!!!

There was frost on the trees this morning in Mid-Michigan.

Some of the best ones come from Dover Publishing. I will have to check my supply!

I've seen some of those - they are pretty cool!

Those sound yummy!

That's why I love coming here, it reminds me to keep that Christmas feeling with me year round.
I think about Christmas all year but then it will just suddenly hit me and goes into overdrive! cheesy
I have all kinds of paper dolls. Mostly they are royalty but I have a lot. I even have Henry VIII and his wives !! I LOVE the Tudor clothing. It looked so elegant !! xo I am sure you and your granddaughter will have great fun !!! xo
Do you keep the dolls intact or take them apart? I would want play with them!!!
If I tried to run a marathon I would probably have a heart attack by the end of mile 2. I like to walk and hike but not run. I do have several friends from high school that run it every year though.
I have been training for a 5k and feel like I am going to have a heart attack before I reach a 1/2 mile!

Good morning!

The sun is shining and today there are hundreds of garage sales in my area and I am not going - too many things to do yet. Tomorrow I will go and it is supposed to rain - oh,well, should be an interesting day!

Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!

Friends, enjoying my time at the Pines! Carl fixed me a nice warm cup of whatever kinda coffee and it is good! We are watching Dancing with the Stars on DVR. That camel likes to watch em' dance.....
And dance along sometimes. (You haven't lived until you've seen a camel dance!)

And with that shuddery thought, Good Morning Friends!

Calm here this morning. Not a leaf stirring outside the window as I type this.
Cool too, at 48 degrees on the way up to about 70 by this afternoon.
About one chance in 3 for rain the next few days.

To the count:
Days to the Season: 192
Days to Christmas Day: 234
Tomorrow! SINGLE DIGITS to the 1/2 Season marker.
That's right. Hard though it may be to believe, we are a scant 10 days away from being HALF way back around to the Christmas Season.
(Not possible. Just not possible!)

And with that Thrilling Thought, you have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks!

Are you back yet, gabulldawg??????? We miss you already!

Hurry back MerryCarey!

Binger, sounds like Carl can make some fraps with the snowfall!

Carl's newest moves. That outfit looks a little girly for him. I guess he is trying to be silly.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is going to be another beautiful day here in Indy. I don't have much going on today. I need to do my normal daily cleaning and then I plan on kicking back and listening to MCR while I read the paper. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, but you are much further south than I am, in March I still had a couple of feet of snow on the ground! Which by the way, is all gone now. Traditionally here we do not put a garden in until the may 24 weekend as by then the risk of frost is finally gone. (we hope)

Welcome to Thursday everyone!
Boy the weather this year is different. Last year it was in the 80's by now. Its been between 40-60 these days. I'm not complaining! I'm thinking about making a trip in July to our 365 Christmas store (and take pictures of course!). We should start a new thread called Christmas 365 where we can post little Christmas picture finds throughout the year. Sound good? lol. I was listening some Christmas music yesterday. Got me in the mood. All year round I keep Christmas lights up that are around the ceiling in my office. They flash, follow each other and more! Makes me happy! Whew..Have to calm down. Don't want to go into crazy Christmas mode too fast this year, or too early! haha. This weekend we are heading off on a mini vacation to Niagara Falls. Should be fun and I'll post pictures when we get back! I MIGHT go to the Christmas store in Niagara-on-the-Lake. If so Ill take more pictures LOL, better charge up my camera and ipod! Have a great day everyone!
