Speaking of being a kid all your life and since it's Mothers Day tomorrow I thought this to be appropriate to talk about my mom.
My mother has shared so many fond memories of her childhood. She grew up on the beach in Long Beach, California, Naples, California and at one time right around the corner from Disneyland. She would tell the stories of her parents taking her to the beach, up in the mountains and she also got to sing in a choir on grand opening day of Disneyland. Also the many trips she use to take and the time she spent in Palm Beach.
She never grew up and it's a good thing! She went onto sharing childhood memories by taking me and my kids (her grandchildren) to Disneyland twice, Disney World twice, Sea World, Water Parks, Skating, movies, train trips across the country and many other places.
She is almost 70 and still doing all these things and now sharing it with my grandchildren (her great grandchildren)! We have not gone to Disney yet with them but she talks about it all the time and VERY READY to go back.
She said she loves these places because she feels like a kid again. I am glad she has passed this onto me! I love my mom! It's good to feel young all your life!
Got some news yesterday that we are due with baby on Christmas Eve!
