7 hours of working in 90 degree heat + 4 hours of buying groceries and running around = one tired ballcoach...whew......
Good evening, everyone. Black, black storm clouds are gathering in the west. We have had drizzling rain off and on all day. Then the sun came out, and now black clouds. I wore a sweatshirt all day because it was cold. We had a great visit with the Missouri cousins. It is always so good to get together with family. Hope you all have a great evening.
Wind just picked up quite a bit and thunder has started!!! Many weird clouds were in the late afternoon sky!
I'm not gonna lie - that is seriously one of THE best parts of being a mom! Christmas at 2 and 3 were amazing!!!
Just dropping in on a Saturday night to say a little merry Christmas to my favorite pals. Had a great day at work today, although it was pretty dang slow due to the holiday weekend.
Gonna take it easy tomorrow and just relax with the family. I think my dad is wanting to take the cover off of the pool tomorrow at his house. This in and of itself is not a bad job. Doing it with my father - that on the other hand can be a nightmare. I love my dad, but he sure is picky!! Wish us luck that we finish with everyone still alive LOL
The bathroom remodel has begun at our house and as quickly as it was demolished, it came to a halt. They demolished everything except for the toilet and were going to come in the next day to start framing things and all, but the plumbers wife had an emergency and he couldn't come. With out him to say where he was running the new plumbing stacks - they couldn't frame any of the walls. SO now it will be Tuesday before they come back... I do hope his wife is okay, but man, it stinks that we lost all of the function of the shower and all for them to do no work for 4 days. Just bad timing, I suppose.
I have to say, I am getting pretty excited for CIJ this year! We haven't had cable for the last 4 years, so while I could celebrate on my own, I was always SO jealous of the shows on tv and QVC and HSN programs. We finally got cable about 2 months ago and now I will get to enjoy with everyone else! Thats got me in the mood to start some planning and maybe do a CIJ dinner or something. But first things first, I need to get through my 4th of July party. Then it will be all Christmas plans, all of the time after that!
Anyways, hope you all are having a nice weekend and everyone stays safe cheesy G'nite!

You don't have to have facebook to view them! Its been a good weekend. Cut the lawn and its nice and cool outside. Well I didn't cut the lawn right now lol but you understand. We were supposed to go to windsor to see my Sisters baby. She called and we are going down next weekend. They are still tired. That's understandable! Here is a video I made from my ipod touch. Oh yes! When I was cutting the lawn I was listening to my Merry Christmas radio on my ipod! Not many people can say that!!! We bought William some books today. Found some Charlie Brown books. He had me read them twice tonight LOL. Well back to my movie! Hope you are having a great weekend! For an added treat here is a blurry LOL video of Williams FIRST visit to Santa Claus! You can hear myself and the lady taking his picture. I think I was more excited. William just sat there wondering what was going on. Nope he didn't cry either! I had a little chat with Santa after, you know, saying I was EXTRA nice. haha

Sure! In a large bowl, whisk 2 eggs until combined. Add 1/2 c oil (I use olive oil!), 1 3/4 c milk, 2 c flour (I use 1 c whole wheat, 1 c AP), 4 tsp baking powder, pinch of salt, and 1 tsp sugar, agave, or honey. I also throw in some rolled oats and flax seeds, but you don't need to do that! Put the chocolate chips in when they are in the waffle iron and cook about 4 min!
I agree! JUde is 3 and already Christmas-crazy!!! I looooove Christmas with the kids! This year they will be 16 months and 3.5, so it'll be sooo much fun!
They just started playing for fun and play in my mom's house (she lives with her boyfriend now so the house just sits vacant). It's great! They have a blast and sometimes we let the kids play with them!
I was at the Montgomery Mall but the Hallmark is pretty big! I can ALWAYS find soemthing Christmasy around there!
Have you ever gone to Byer's Choice in Chalfont (border of Bucks/Montgomery County?) I posted the link the other day but as it gets hotter, I'm dying to go! It's free and looks soo fun!
