Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!! It is a hot and humid day here in central Indy. I just got back from a cookout at my sisters house. I think I managed to sweat off 10 lbs while I was working the grill. Now I plan on kicking back and enjoying the A/C for awhile. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

But make sure you watch out for the 15 or so gas cans that someone tossed into my yard last night, poking fun at my favorite racer who ran out of gas on his way to victory (only to run out 200 yards short). Somebody is real funny, but I think I know who it is and I will pay them back.

I hope they were at least full cans of gas!!!!!!:-?

Happy Memorial Day to my American Christmas friends!

Just on the train coming home from work. It was a wonderful weekend - but I never got the chance to come online.

Saturday we had a family day BBQ at our house - and it was super! Yesterday was a little tough because I was fighting a migraine. That's what upcoming thunderstorms do to me - and did we ever get one. The high humidity also gives me migraines - and we've had plenty of that too. Man...on Friday I was still wearing a coat - and today I could find a pool and jump in!

I've got to work again tonight - so its likely I won't be online. Once I'm able, I'll be here a lot more!

I think CAH once said that the hotter it gets...the more she thinks about Christmas - and I tend to agree with her. I'm the same way.

the weather in the north of england is grim, it's rained all day and looks pretty miserable. we must get about 6 weeks of summer between april and august, the rest of the time it's not what you'd expect from summer! it's no wonder i can't get christmas out of my mind!

i must admit, i'm terribly hungover today! went to a baptism yesterday and stayed out for drinks with the family. i feel like i'm getting old, i just can't handle these hangovers anymore, especially with a very active 20 month old to run around after... i'd say never again, but i'd be lying!

Good afternoon, everyone. We just looked at the 10-day weather forcast. Rain is in our future as well as temperatures in the 60s and two days in the 50s. This is SO UNREAL for northern California!!! I worked on my scrapbooking space today. It is really coming together, and it will be great for me to have space and be able to keep my projects out until I am finished. Gotta run to Wal-Mart to get two items I need for my scrapbooking tables. Have a great evening, if I don't get on later!

Good Morning, Everyone.
Crown returns (for better or worse).

Good trip (if going to a funeral can ever be good).
Lots of nice fellowship and meetings of people who had not seen each other for some time.
Had some hard rain on the way down but it was nice and clear sailing on the way back yesterday.

Bright and sunny here this morning and already up to 78 as I type this.
The highs are supposed to be in the 90's through the remainder of the forecast period.
(That's too early, Folks. It's still Spring!)

I just finished making fresh guacamole dip. We bought some artisan roasted garlic and black bean chips. Yummo!!! We are also going to make steak fajitas for our main dish! Dinner will be ready in about an hour!

I've had one hangover in my 34 years. It was sooooo bad that I decided I'd never have another. Those things stink! So, when I do drink I try to keep it below that level. I will never never touch hard stuff, again.

They just started playing for fun and play in my mom's house (she lives with her boyfriend now so the house just sits vacant). It's great! They have a blast and sometimes we let the kids play with them!

I was at the Montgomery Mall but the Hallmark is pretty big! I can ALWAYS find soemthing Christmasy around there!

Have you ever gone to Byer's Choice in Chalfont (border of Bucks/Montgomery County?) I posted the link the other day but as it gets hotter, I'm dying to go! It's free and looks soo fun!

The band sounds like fun! I've not been to Byers Choice but I did see your post on it...I would love to go but unfortunately no one around here is as crazy about Christmas as I am, so I would probably end up going alone.

Hi all.

I've been meaning to update about my last few days (because they've been awesome!) but I've got something a little more important to post about today.

My dad is going in tomorrow for an endarterectomy to fix his 90% blocked carotid artery. I am not doing well, even though I've heard this is a pretty routine surgery and he is very confident about it. Maybe I've watched too much Grey's Anatomy and ER-type shows where the most routine surgeries go bad...but I'm just insanely worried. Please say a prayer/send good thoughts/good vibes/positive energy to him...I would really appreciate it. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep and get through work tomorrow without driving myself crazy over this.
