The battery is almost dead on the laptop. I guess that means it's time for bed. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Well the brides sister just posted on facebook and even managed to write a coherent sentence. The party must not have gotten to wild.

In case you are wondering that side of my family are really heavy drinkers. Both of my cousins take after their dad who has been arrested 13 times for DWI. He finally got his Indiana drivers license back last year after 15 years. I don't think he can ever get a Pennsylvania drivers license again.
No after baptismal socials with JOHNOR for the cuzes and uncle then!

how is everyone doing? been a good day yesterday. been to a medival market, that happens in my city annually since 2001 and is a big crowd magnet....The people that take part, practially live like back in the day and travel from medival market to medival market......some even earn money with it, by selling clothes, weapons....of course only kid s swords out of wood, shields and such stuff, met, wine, jewelry........others show people how many things were done back then.....workwise........then there are showfights with swords and stuff like that.....mighty interessting and the kids find it incredibly exiting when a knight in full armor walks by

Had our first BBQ of the season too, part of the epic birthday celebrations for my soon-to-be-15-year-old-daughter. She's still the delight she was to me the day she was born.

what a story, jeff. got me all choked up!

I finally went to the MD and I strained several muscles in my back from all the coughing. No wonder it hurts so badly! He phoned in a few prescriptions, so I will pick them up early tomorrow! Good night, Christmas friends!
I had that once, not fun. Hope you are feeling better quickly.

Had our first 80 degree weather today -- seriously, June 4th, can't believe it -- and you could literally hear the snow melting in the mountains.

I do miss the mountains and would love to sit and listen to the snow melt again...someday

We hit a new record of 98 yesterday! First time since that date in 1911! Nuts!

That is so sweet about your daughter! Happy upcoming birthday to her!

Good Morning MMC !

It was quite foggy when I got out for my walk this morning, but it has already burned off with the rising of the sun. Going to be a nice day, think I will have a BBQ for supper tonight.
Off to church in 1/2 hour, daughter already there as she has to run the power point this morning.

Have a fantastic day everyone!

We had a record high of 95 today

Ick! Could hit the 90s by Wednesday here - not looking forward to that at all!

What fun! There is a Renaissance festival in my hometown every year - very small, but it just started a few years ago. I'm planning on going this year cheesy

Good morning all :tree:

Good morning, irishsnow - have a lovely day!!

Oh Jeff, thank you !!! what an amazing record of your daughter's birth. What a wonderful writer and story teller you are. I envy you and aspire to be like you as a writer !!

I hate it when that happens !!! Glad the wedding turned out pretty nice !!

Good morning!

Beautiful day on tap - sunshine and not too hot. Going to plant tomatoes and peppers - had a few in the garden, but a rabbit ate them down to the stalks. Looks like there won't be a big garden this year - hoping to at least get in the zucchini. There are so many things you can do with zucchini and they usually grow quite abundantly around here.

Have a great day!!!!!!!!!

You know why Sunday is my favorite morning of the week? Its the only day that I don't wake up to an alarm clock! My church offers 3 services, so even if we over sleep a little, we can still go to the later service. Today I woke up at 7, after missing a call. Its earlier than I would like, but it still better than normal!

Yesterday was interesting! Work went well and then I left for the dance recital. When I got there, they were trying to tell me and my older sister that we would have to leave bc there were no more seats left and it was against firecode for us to just stand at the sides to watch. The dance studio already has 2 performances, but apparently they have outgrown this facility. My sister got really upset and stormed out crying - which turned on the fighter in me! I gave that guy a piece of my mind - no one makes my sister cry! In the end, the director of the studio had to ask people that may have already seen the first performance to leave so that those of us that hadn't seen it yet could stay. It was pretty dramatic. I feel bad for the director - there isn't really anything she could have done about it. But in the end, my sister did GREAT at pointe and all of my nieces did so cute in their little ballet and tap routines.

Today we'll go to see our friend's new baby be baptized and other than that, we're just taking Kaylin to go swimming for the first time of the season. She LOVES to swim, so I'm excited for that. cheesy

Oh and I made my family draw names for Christmas last night lol. They always know it is coming around this time of year, but never stop teasing me for it. But as I reminded them, Christmas is only 203 days away and only around 14 or 15 paychecks away for me. As Dave Ramsey says, "I don't know why people always seem surprised by Christmas? It comes on the same day every year!" I just want to be prepared.

My sister did make a suggestion for all of the kids, though. She suggested that instead of each of the aunts getting the kids a bunch of small presents from each of us - we pool our money and get each kid one bigger present from all of us. I like and dislike this idea in some ways. It sure helps the kids from just taking home a bunch of toys that will just become clutter in the end, but I enjoy getting to shop for them and watch them open a bazillion gifts on Christmas morning LOL! It kind of changes things a bit - ya know?

Are your family's making any changes in how they do Christmas this year?

It's been near 100 degrees here for the past couple of weeks. :-?

Great story you wrote! I can see why you won an award for it.

I think that is a great idea but I see how you can like and dislike it. It does kind of take the fun away from opening lots of presents.

Want to trade weather? It's already trying to hit 100 here, hasn't gotten there yet, but it's just a matter of time.

Happy birthday to your daughter, glad you had a goood time with your first BBQ of the season.
