Good Morning MMC !

I actually had to close the window I am sitting in front of because I was getting cold! Our summer has been hot only in short bursts, getting only 2 or 3 days of hot before it cools off again. Are we not supposed to be having a problem with global warming? cheesy

My mother in law is doing a little better, but still a long way from where she needs to be, we will probably be moving her to the biggest hospital in the area for better observation. If that wasn't bad enough, my father in law's mother is in a coma and very near to the end, she was doing better but her body is shutting down now. Sorry to be such a downer with all this sad news.
Sorry to hear. I will pray for you all.

I'm jealous! I wish it would cool down here.

The triple digit temperatures are getting to everyone here. My grandson wanted to go outside yesterday to ride his bike. I told him it's just way too hot but we went ahead and gave it a try. Poor guy lasted about 5 minutes and had sweat pouring down his face, then he said he wanted to go in. I live across the street from a playground and you never see a soul there during the summer months. Serious cabin fever going on here!

During the summer we use to try to go to an outdoor playground at 8 am but only lasted about 15 minutes because it's even too hot then! Wow!

We did finally take the kids to the mall where they have an indoor playground. Everyone had the same idea because it was very crowded!

Maybe we might hit the spray water park today.

We shall make the best of it and have a great summer even if we can't get outside every day. :snowball:*Think Cool*!

I agree, CAH. I'm jealous of all these folks who say the temps are getting cooler and the humidity is going down. I was soaked with sweat after working 1.5 hours on the deck yesterday evening. That was 7:30 pm to 9 pm!

We're getting a break from the heat Fri & Sat with highs of 76 & 78. Then we head back to the low to mid 80's and humidity. I will sure be glad when fall gets here.

I did watch The Santa Clause 2 tonight, I needed a little Christmas today.

Have a good night.

I will keep your entire family in my prayers friend.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! It is going to be about 10 degrees cooler here today and the humidty has let up a bit. I have some errands to run today and then it will back home to get ready for the pines. With Crown not there to keep Carl in line tonights party should be epic. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had overcast skies the past couple of days and it has cooled things down here considerably. We typically get monsoonal moisture this time of year, bringing prodigious thunderstorms to our late afternoons. While the storms themselves haven't really developed yet we've had those towering thunder bumpers and it has been threatening.

I was in the car yesterday and the skies were dark and the light kind of had a fall-like golden quality to it. I had tuned my MP3 to test-listen to a new program we've been working on for MCR and for a while there I actually had the feeling of early November...it was wonderful.

HSN just released their schedule for the 19th and we get 5 hours of Christmas in July programing before the main event on the 20th.

7am-8am 20th Annual Christmas in July preview
1pm-3pm 20th Annual Christmas in July preview
10pm-12pm The Night Before Christmas

So get your remotes ready to switch between Shopnbc's Christmas in July event and HSN's preview on the 19th. We should have HSN's schedule for the 20th tomorrow.

And with this post, CAH is poster #13,900. For her efforts, she will receive a packed snowball! Hopefully, this will cool you guys off!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is overcast and quite cool so far this morning. We slept last night with the windows open and even had an extra blanket! I plan to go to school today. This is the first week I have been driving. Hubby had to drive me everywhere! I hope everyone has a great day!

Oooh, how nice!!!! It's "cooler" here (only 80 right now as opposed to 96 yesterday!!!) but I could go for a nice chill in the air! :snowball:

I'm lucky if my guide shows me whats going to be on 3 hours from now. I can't even imagine how nice it would be to look stuff up a week in advance.

Congratulations to the USA Womens World Cup Team!!!!!!!! They are heading to the championship game on Sunday.

Good Wednesday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

It's hot!

In other news, I met with a tree surgeon about removing the huge limb that fell in my yard last week. $500!!!! The sad thing is, I don't have the equipment to move such a large hunk of wood, so I may have to pay up. I have a couple other guys to talk to about it first.

Did I mention that it's hot?

I made some progress on the deck yesterday, and I hope to get as much done today. My daughter jumped in yesterday afternoon, then said the water was too hot. She went back in the house! LOL

Gosh, it's hot!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

After an absence, I'm back! Furious, but I'm back! Staying at a nice hotel for our conference and when I checked in, they told me they didn't have wireless internet. I have been using my ipad to read, but couldn't post for some reason...go figure! Come to find out this morning, they don't have wireless, but they do have wired....and it was included in the bill! Why couldn't he have said they have a form of the net?

Oh well, glad to be back in touch. See yall this evening!
