Hi everyone. Been so busy busy! I am off of work tomorrow. Its my Mom's Birthday. Going to make her Spritz cookie recipe without my Mom's help. This will be my 1st time making them on my own..and with both the kids. Wish me luck..this could be a real disaster LOL. Hot here in MD too.. we hit 95 today and suppose to hit 100 Thursday and Friday I think :x. Really wish this next month would fly by... Im hating this humidity and heat even more. Hope you all have a wonderful evening..dont forget about HSN!

Good hot and humid afternoon!

Finished with work early - yay! I am going to relax for the rest of the day. I'm hungry, but the thought of food is turning my stomach. It is way too hot to eat right now - am going to wait until the sun goes down and I can open some windows. Right now it is cooler in the house with them closed, but it is very stuffy.

CM3 - so very happy you are getting a different shift!

MerryBells - I hope you can get your sister home soon and that she will be fine!

It's been such a long day here, and it's getting even longer. My boss had to leave the office to go see patients in the ER, and my sister and I are stuck here. I wish he'd get back soon so we can go home. My sister has been having problems with atrial fibrillation, and she's so tired she looks gray. I'd like to leave to at least take her home, but the boss will probably come back the minute I leave. Somebody, PLEASE fax us some cookies!-we need the sugar rush!

That is 98f (humadex of 118f)
I doubt very much that will cool you off.

Did you hear what that guy just said on ShopNbc? Talking about the convenience of having pre-lit tree. He said, "I know some people who just throw their tree away because they don't want to remove the lights at the end of the year". Really? Ok, I am going to toss my almost $100.00 tree in the trash because I don't want to remove the lights. He must have friends with a lot of money who can afford to do that.
