The turkey breast and baked corn are in the oven. I think I am going to cheat and use stove top and instant mashed potatoes. Now what to make for dessert.

That sounds yummy! It is really warm out, so I'd probably go for the instant mashed potatoes too. Dessert has too many options to suggest - I may not be much help unless I could email you the cookies I'm baking!

OH! I think my cookie dough is done chilling! Time to go roll and cut the cookies! Yay!

Oh no!!! It's the crazy dancing lady again. She has a dancing christmas tree now.

Argh, I tried to roll the cookies and they needed more flour, so I added it and tried to mix it. Apparently that was too much for my hand mixer and now it is DEAD! Boo! Maybe I can convince my DH to get me a new high quality stand mixer for Christmas in July...but I won't be holding my breath.

So now I've hand mixed the extra flour in and now it is rechilling for a bit. This is turning out to be more work than I planned it being!!! I may be up late tonight bc I already promised these cookies. What kind of Christmas nut would I be if I didn't follow through?
