Crown, I did look out my window last night and the neighbors across the field of the school I live in front of still have their Christmas lights on!

As most of you know, I lived in Maryland for the first 42 years of my life. As of this past December 27, I have been in Texas for 7 years. When I first came here I would have a recurring dream that i was back in Maryland, but at the same time I felt like I needed to be back here in Texas with my sweety. Well they stopped for a very long time, until this morning that is. Just before waking up I had that dream again, I was even working at my old job I had in Maryland. Then, in the dream, I woke up one morning and suddenly had a panic attack that I made a big mistake and I had to get back to Texas and with my wife, this one felt so real that I woke up and when I saw I was still here with my wonderful wife, a huge sense of relief came over me. I just whispered to myself, thank God! I can't imagine why I would have that dream now after all this time, just weird!

Oh indeed I do, Coach, especially since my 2nd favorite team, the Packers, made it into the playoffs.
And I feel the same "Christmas continuation" way about the college bowl games (even though I think there's WAY too many and can't stand the "corporate renaming" that's gone on over the years. Ruins the sense of continuity for me.)

We again stand at 30 here in Raleigh under calm and sunny skies just as we did yesterday at this time.
Our high is predicted to be 47 after a nice 54 yesterday.
By Friday, they show a 20 percent chance of snow with a high in the 30's.
(That will feel more seasonal but hey! Christmas has passed and I'm ready for warm weather again!)
Well, Carl is ready at the 'Pines for our first open house of 2011.
The fired twinkies turned out especially well this time so hop over and have a few, washed down with sweet southern tea, of course.

Good morning everyone.... Got a busy day today ... work and then a big grocery shopping trip tonight. Plus tonight I am going to bake a cake for my mom's b-day tomorrow. Still have to wrap her b-day gifts. Trees still up, will take them down this weekend and then bring out the rest of my snowmen stuff.

Tonight is Twelfth Night ... end of the twelve days of Christmas. Boo ...

I wish I could, but being a Bengals fan, with only 2 winning seasons in 20 years, I find being a football fan has passed me by, especially when the Patriots are in. You could not find a Pats fan around my area 20 years ago, and now everybody is one.

Just got back from a very short day at work! I have a Dr appt at 1130,then at 2 I take one of my dogs to the vet for a shot she is only suppose to get every 4 months but she recently got sick again only after 2 months but the vet said he could see her today..its raining and cold today, perfect day to get off work early! have a good day every one!
Just another work day here, but I have tomorrow off, but a lot of errands. Listening to Christmas music on Music Choice, one more day with that and back to that rancid music they play between holidays on Sounds of the Season channel. I wish they would play Christmas year round, but I did record 4.5 hours worth of music so I could pop it on whenever I am jonseing for it.

We are so happy you joined us! I feel like you as far as being involved with these forums. I have lost interest with other ones due to most peoples lack of interest to have conversation and compassion. These forums are full of conversation and compassionate people. It goes to show that Christmas people have very big hearts!

Morning everyone. Its the middle of the week! I can see the weekend coming finally. I installed some more Christmas apps on my ipod touch. YAY! Took a bit to get William to sleep last night so we are a bit tired today. Neighbors still have their Christmas lights up and we do as well. Better get going. Talking to a customer
