Seems a lot around here are having a hard time with their furry family members. Well I have a feather family member that is a 17 year old lovebird and he is very ill right now. He has been sick but not too bad and I have had him on an antibiotic. Last night he took a turn for the worse and I am not sure he has much time left. It's sad because he is a sweet bird. I pray he makes a turn around and gets better! He might pull through because 2 years ago he was so sick that he actually laid on the floor of the cage and miraculously within a couple of days got completely well. I hope for that as well but he is an old bird. =(

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

My little brother's surgery went ok yesterday. I talked to him for a moment on the phone about 5PM, and he was doing ok. A few minutes later, though, he started bleeding badly and they had to take him to surgery again. He doing better this morning, thank the Lord. I appreciate the prayers and good thoughts!

We didn't get any snow here near Savannah, GA, but a friend of mine in Oneonta, AL has been snowed-in for three days! It's in the foothills of the mountains, so I guess it's to be expected once in a while.

Well as my wife said our cat came back on his own, thanks God! Whatever he did, he wore himself out. he sayed in our room most of the night, and slept. Usually is is roaming around the house. Must of done some partying.

Good morning everyone! Well we got a few inches of snow but not enough to keep me off of work :-?. Im usually off of work on Wednesdays but I have a class to take for work today but I will be off work tomorrow. Not much else going on. Hope you all have a nice afternoon!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is snowing again here this morning and it is really windy out so it is just blowing everywhere. Luckily I don't have anywhere to go today. Mom left an hour early to get to work and said she still go there 10 minutes late. It didn't help that the interstate was closed because of a jack knifed semi. Well I am going to suit up and head out to shovel some snow. I hope everyone has a safe and GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Working from home today because of the blizzard. My husband drove out to the train station ... I hope he makes it safely. He'll have to dig his car out of the parking lot when he gets home, because it's supposed to keep snowing all day. It looks like there's a foot out there already. I'll be worrying until he gets back home safe.

Wow. Only 5 days away from our first Milestone of 2011, the 300-day Season mark.
(It came so fast, didn't it? But that's the beauty of the Season count which has been busily running since last Nov 13.)

However, the sun is shining and our thin ice mantle should be broken soon and we can all walk outside again without fear.

Its wednesday! Middle of the week. I can see friday from here! We had about 8 inches of snow overnight. My Wife was late for work. Doh! Last night I was playing video games and listening to my merry Christmas radio online. It came to a segment where Jay was talking about the last song Frank Sinatra sang but then they played a different song! lol

Taking my tree down now! I am sad but it's time. That thing is dead as a doornail! I am being poked to death, lol! Jude is upstairs with the hubby so I am anxious about what he'll say.. he loves the tree!

Good morning all! Well, I ended up with 7 inches of snow in my yard Monday, the city was shut down for two days and the schools are still closed! So we have been making the best of it by building a snow family in the front yard, a snow fort in the back yard, and a lot of snow tracks through the house. It's all supposed to start melting by Saturday (when the temps actually get above freezing) so I'm enjoying it all I can while it's here. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Stay warm!!
