I had mentioned in a prevoius post that I will leave my Christmas lights Up and On until Mid Feb. Well folks I think I may have inspired someone. I live in A condo, those of you know that means close proximity to others etc. Well for the last several years I have used red and white lights on the trees and shrubs outside. There are about 16 condos here I am the only one who does this, (lights and decorations ) until..... a few years ago when my neighbor starts putting up red and white lights as well.

Last night I noted that this same neighbor took down her tree and has not been lit up outside for several days as well. Well a fw hours ago I went outside and what did I see.... her outside lights were on !!!! :snowball:

I just noticed that our across-the-street neighbor has on their outside lights! Love it! There is an older couple who live down who also have on their outside lights!
Great to see people still have their lights up!

Got to get some sleep to chase around the grandkids tomorrow. cheesy

I will chat with you all tomorrow. Goodnight everyone!!!

Good night from the snow 'n' blow capital of the world---Massachusetts!

(with apologies to Jackie Gleason)

WOW it snowed in 49 of the 50 states today. Only Florida was left out of the fun.

I am sorry. If it hasn't snowed here, then it really hasn't snowed in California!!!

Out in the western part of the state my little town ended up with a total of 30 inches according to the news, its even more than they originally stated, I have never seen so much snow with one storm.

Stopping by for a very quick hello....and goodbye...worked late....got home about an hour ago....see yall in the morning!

My husband and I went out to our favorite Mexican restaurant tonight. Along our way, I noted the houses that were lighted. I already posted the ones that were lighted before, then tonight I noted another one. Ihad noticed this particular house because of the unusual license plate of the car in front. Anyhow...in the restaurant, just before we left, we got into a conversation with the young couple close to us. It turned out that THEIR house was the house lighted with the unusual license plate!!! I told them about our website!!! How great is that??

I enjoyed having my Christmas lights on for one last night, I loved looking at them while I was shoveling, my neighbors still had theirs on and a house behind ours on a different block still has their wreaths up and lit. The lights were shut off at 10:03pm for the final time.

Maybe you found another future MMCer, I love this place.

My neighbors across the street turned their lights on tonight again. That is so cool to see others copy me. You know if you do something nice and cool enough times others will follow suit. And looking good for Christmas sometimes can be very contagious to others.

No, he wasn't. He wants you to think he's cool, so he told you he was at a frat toga party. He is a studying nerd!!!

Actually all he said was "meow meow meow, purr purr purr, meow meow meow." I don't speak cat so I don't know what he said, but his breath smells like beer and pizza.

It sounds as if the entire nation is under a blizzard, except here in Arizona... Is this the coldest winter on record, in your part of the country?
:snowball:
I wanted to thank not only AuntieMistletoeDear for offering me a trial membership, but Christmas-a-holic offered as well! How very kind to spend experience points on a newbie! Thanks for the warm welcome into your lovely forum! Merry January!

Since I recently moved from Detroit to Seattle. The weather is very mild compared to what I'm used to. It was 50 to day. In January blew my mind.

Since I moved I have not been in a Christmassy mood. Christmas just didn't seem like Christmas this year. I haven't been on here since a few days before Christmas and I just posted a couple times and at 2:07 am pst I am officially feeling very Christmassy. Thank you MMC.

Ha ha! Very true! We only got a dusting here, so Texas don't count either. =)

I will have the coffee ready (but it's decaf). =)

Let's try to spread this around the whole world! =)

MMC keeps us in the spirit. I love it!

My little lovebird has been eating some and moving around a little more. He is still wheezing so we just don't know yet if he will fully recover. He is 17 years old but there is hope! He is still on his antibiotics.

Like I have mentioned before, 2 years ago he was so sick that I found him literally laying on his back with his feet in the air. Birds are usually dead when they are laying like that, it's not natural. I was about to take him to the vet and have him put to sleep because I knew he was suffering. I waited it out and then after a round of antibiotics he was back to usual playful self. If the vet had seen him in that bad of shape he would not have hesitated putting him to sleep.

I hope he fully recovers!
