I had a great day. My daughter treated me to lunch today and it was nice hanging out with her. She is a busy career girl and I don't get to spend a lot of time with her. We see each other all through the week, have brief conversations on the phone and email back and forth so it was nice to just relax and have lunch together.

My internet is running very sluggish today and I am struggling to catch up on the post. Taking forever to load each page. I thought it was my computer but it's not. Every computer in our house is having the same issue.

Anyway, I will try to catch up later when I can figure out what's wrong.

Enjoy your Friday evening everyone! cheesy

Nifty! Just scanned - wondered why I've been crashing - it found 1104 system errors, wow! And my speed is much slower than others in my service are. Thanks superdave!

OH! Gee, do they deliver??

If you like Percy Faith, try the Hollyridge Strings.
More beautiful, lush Christmas selections in the Faith style but with their own twist.
Check it out!

Thanks for the tip---I'll have to check them out. I like my Percy Faith album---one of my all-time favorites is their "Joy to the World." When I was a kid, I used to play that on Thanksgiving to kick off the season.

Evening aLL, well I had a not so productive day today. Woke up tp find that school was cancelled and uh.... went uh back to bed and slept till ... uh 12:00 noon. Husband AND I went out for chinese tonight. We go to the same place about every two week's. I am painfully full right now. Anyhow, on the way home I noticed some houses with lights up and on. They were white lites, so I am thinking that instead of being Christmas lights they are now " "winter lights"
as I mentioned earlier that I kept mine up as they are red and white and will work for Valentines day. I also have snowflake lights up on my deck . They have been on 24/7 for weeks. They are a nice sturdy set made by GE and I got them in NOV. Well as My husband and I were pulling in our drive way ,to my horror I noticed that only four of the eight snowflakes were lit.

I am so bummed out about this. Its too darn cold to go and take em down right now. Its literally is only 10 degrees with a windchill of 1. Pl,us they are all wired around the railing it would be a major endeavor. Anyone else use these lights and encounter this. My husband thinks it may be a fuse. But the thing is that the lights are kind of inside the snowflake. I dont know if changing the light in the event in were burnt out. is possible. CAN anybody hep me out on this one? :snowball:

Ah, yes. I can hear it playing in my head as I type this. A nice, dramatic version of the song.
