Just a quick hello to everyone !

Anyone besides me still have their Christmas lights on ???

I still have my wreat on the front door and a few Christmas things scattered throughout the house...where they will stay all year long! cheesy

I am so glad to see you back here, as I wrote to you before we have missed you!

Thank you Xmas! I saw your note as soon as I logged on last night - and I just thought that was really thoughtful! MMC is full of so many thoughtful people!!!

Well...it is a snowy morning in Oh Canada, eh! At least its not as cold this morning as it was yesterday morning - but we got more snow. YIKES! We were so spoiled last year when we had such a mild winter. Old man winter sure is making up for it this year!

I don't have much time on here this morning - as I really must get ready for work!

See you all later...and I wish you all a very merry day!

One month down and only 11 more to go!!!!!!!!:???:

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is going to be a beautiful day here in central Indy with a high of 35 degrees. I plan on celebrating Rudolph day today by watching a christmas movie and listening to some christmas music. I have decided that it is time to step into the new age and buy a flat screen tv. When I told mom she said that she would buy a new entertainment center for it. So my plan for today is to do some research on tv's and entertainment centers. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

My wife (Christmas-A-Holic) is always posting on here that she hopes for snow. Well being from Maryland originally, I don't mind the kind of snow we get here in Texas. So I know where you all coming from when you say we can have yours. I don't miss those Nor'easters that would dump 2 or 3 feet of snow on us, then I would have to go out and shovel it, nope don't miss that at all.

Happy Rudolph Day!

Good morning,

Woke up to another 2-3 inches of snow this morning and a temp of 9*F. Back to work after a couple days off, funny I don't want to go. I will probably listen to some Bing Crosby Christmas music on the way into work, a little celebration of the day of Rudy for myself. I stayed up way too late watching the Bruins lose to the L.A. Kings, why do I do that to myself?

Have a good :rudolph: day!

This thread is out of control.. why in the early days of Christmas.com we had like 2,000 posts for the entire year ( dial up back then... remember Crown? Not sure if anyone else goes back that far..).....
Folks, to get a feel for just how far this thread has gone, just look at post #1.
And yes Bing, I remember the "quiet" days of Christmas.Com!

Good Morning, On Fire Friends.

Sunrise, Sunset. Sunrise, Sunset. Quicky goes the count:
Days to the Season: 292
Days to Christmas Day: 334
Just over 2 1/2 weeks now until the 25 percent Season mark.

Well, I feel lucky any time we start out in the 30's here rather than the 20's (or the teens).
It is sunny and 36 as I type this, with rain predicted for tonight, tomorrow and Thursday.

Not many houses left now with decorations in my area. Still fewer with lights on. There's always one or 2 that make it through January each year, however. It's always fun to see which is the very last one!

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everyone!

Have fun searching for a flat screen, I will join the new age at some point in the future.

Yeah, all my family on my dad's side is in Buffalo, NY. All that lake-effect shuts them down every year. Ugh.

I just got my first flat screen at Christmas. I got a 1080p 37" LCD Visio, and I love it! I think the new thing now is LED and 3D. I don't think I'll be going 3D anytime soon. they say the glasses are, like, $150 a pair!

Good Tuesday (January Rudolph Day) morning, my Christmas friends!

My daughter called me from school yesterday, saying she didn't feel good. So I picked her up and took her home. She went straight to her room, changed into PJs and got on the couch with her little dog. I guess everyone needs a day off now and then. She's fine today.

It's supposed to rain all day for the next two days here. No complaints, though, we can use all the rain we can get.

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

It looks like I'm going to fill this page myself...LOL!

I just noticed I rolled over 5000 posts! cheesy

** OFFICIAL THREAD - CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN 2011 **

Yes, Friends. It's that time again. The first of January - the start of a new year.
And so another year of countdowning begins!

Here are the statistics since we began the Season countdown idea 7 years ago:
2004 = 1217 posts (Christmas.com) = 3.3 posts per day.
2005 = Over 2,700 posts (Christmas.com) = over 7.4 posts per day.
2006 = 3,756 posts (The Christmas Place) = 10.3 posts per day.
2007 = 1,957 posts (My Merry Christmas, where the thread was not launched until July) = 12.1 posts per day.
2008 = 5,103 posts (Wow!) = 13.9 posts per day.
2009 = 8,231 posts (Unbelievable!!) = 22.6 posts per day.
2010 = 16,226 posts (Astounding, to say the least!!) = 44.5 posts per day!
(A nearly inexplicable, yet wonderful, explosion of interest!)

Wow! I didn't really look at that and see where we stand against countdowns past, we are at such a blistering pace thus far.

Good afternoon,

All the Christmas stuff is down, except for 2 Santas, like I said I can't quit Christmas cold turkey, gradually everything will disappear. The house is back to the boring state it is in until November. Just taking a break eating lunch, catching up on posts, and news.

Have a good afternoon.
I know what you mean. It does look very boring when the pretty Christmas things come down.
Good afternoon Christmas friends. I hope everyone is having a great monday. I had a good long weekend camping,it was colder than I thought It would be but I still had alot of fun. I came home late last night and and had an early morning at work,so I still have to unpack and get settled. Hope everyone is doing good and I look forward to catching up with everyone!
I am glad you had fun and good to see you back!
etting ready to go to sleep....not feeling well now...the bronchitis was almost gone....and now it seems like it hit me again....full force.....coughing, breathing hard....I hate it...but then...I am kinda used to it...so it is not that bad....better a cough than a cold that gives me a stuffed nose :D
I hope you get better soon!
We are 74 away from 2,900 posts. If we hurry, we can make 3,000 by the end of January. I will be out of town on Saturday and Sunday, returning late Sunday night. Will someone volunteer to be the cheerleader for our group to push us onward and upward to 3,000? Let me know, please.
Have a great time this weekend. I can't volunteer since my weekend are unpredictable but no worries, between us all we will cover it. =)
Good afternoon my Christmas family. Next week I leave the job I have had for 3-1/2 years. I know eventually it will be okay but until then it is going to be a little rocky financially more so than it has been. Still, it takes sacrificing sometimes to make things better and besides I can't take the stress of running out of work every single day of my work week. I have paperwork to fax tomorrow to the new job right after I get done with my present job. I have been through this before but I am starting to get those "drastic lifestyle change" knots in the stomach. Oy !! Why is it so stressful to just change a job ?? I know I will get through this but a prayer or two would sure be appreciated xo

Have a wonderful evening Christmas family - I love each and every one of you !! xo
Slow, deep breaths. I think that is what you told us? Lol! In all seriousness, prayers your way and God will look after you! =)

Better just make it Christmas music only! I just posted a source for thirty to fifty hours worth of downloads for January 2011 Rudolph Day over in the Archived Audio thread!

Just wanted to say hi. Was very busy at work today. Now watching the tv show Intervention. This is a sad show but makes you see how destructive drugs are.
I have watched that show before. It is so sad and you really hope the one getting the intervention stays clean for life.
YES! it is Dana!!!!!:dance:
I am glad the person you like won!

Good evening,

I am tired tonight, chasing LC around all day and taking down the last of the decorations. We are back below zero standing at -5F got to a high of 7F today tomorrow is supposed to be around 32.

Just like me, no matter how good my grandchildren are I am exhausted at the end of the day.
