YIKES! There sure were a lot of posts today! Great job everyone!

11 months today and its Christmas!!! YA!

I had one of "those" days at work today. It felt as though I was walking against the wind! No matter how hard I tried..."things" just kept happening!

For example, I noticed the fridge had no power to it. So - I went to the utility room and was trying to figure out which box was the fuse box. I saw one with a big lever and so I decided to pull the lever down to open the box. Well...it wasn't the fuse box - it was (okay...now don't anyone laugh) the box that controls the power to the office! I quickly realized that I cut all the power off and pushed the lever back up really quick! (HEY...I heard you laughing! Ya...you in the back row! Hahahaha!)

As it turned out...all I had to do was push the little "reset" button where the plug goes in.

Luckily...there was only a couple of people in the office who whitnessed me in all my brilliance! Hahahaha!

That wasn't the end of it...but I think you get how my day went.

Its all good though. I'm home now and am enjoying MMC!

Gonna run for now though. Thanks for making this site the most Christmassy ever!

Has anyone else gotten more snow today ??

We got a couple inches overnight, enough to make for a slow commute this morning---about 85 minutes instead of 35. Tomorrow night, another 6 to 10 inches ... we have about 17 inches still in the yard, so I don't know where we're going to put it when we shovel!

Yep, the chat was at Christmas Chatter.

At one point there were nine folks in while I was there. The ladies from Magical Holiday Home chose Christmas Notebook as the topic. They were sharing about content and how to keep a notebook all year long.

It's a bummer, but chats there aren't available to members as an archive. But you may catch a synopsis at MHH. Perhaps someone will summarize tonight's chat in that thread as well.

Wow cant believe how close we are to 3,000 posts..that is incredible! I saw that a lot of you are experiencing snow/ice and cold temps. We hit a low of 8 the other night. Today is warmer...around 38 but we are expected to get some kind of precip starting around 5pm and will not end until Thursday morning... of course the weather man has no idea if it will be snow/ice/mix or rain... and why do we have weather men? LOL

I think it is so we have someone to gripe about when the weather turns sour. cheesy

My niece and her husband, Jules and Billy got rear ended leaving her mom and dad's last night...they figure who ever hit them was going at least 60mph...came right up on the car and slammed into them...flipped the car up on the nose, skidded into the ditch, back onto the nose and landed upside down...hit and run...they were both taken to the hospital via ambulance, Billy was discharged while Jules was getting x-rays and she was discharged around 11pm last night. Both ok, just really sore and tired. Jules couldn't sleep last night. My sister, Jules mom says that the police where there right away as they just happened to be going down the road. While they where at the hospital they saw a man handcuffed to a bed and a police officer saying something about an accident in Milton, Vermont
(where they live) so they are hoping the hit and run driver was caught.

Glad they were okay.
