Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! After 4 days of battling a stomach bug I think I may be finally over it. I am feeling pretty lazy after not really eating for 4 days but there is to much to do today to just lay around. We are expecting a major winter storm here over the next couple of days with up 1.5 inches of ice across central Indy. I only have a half of bag of salt left so I will be heading out here shortly to search for a store that still has some left. Then I need to run by the grocery store to pick up some stuff in case we lose power. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I was surprised that it was raining this morning. I haven't checked the weather forcast, but the weekend was so beautiful, I just thought it would keep going. Oh well.

I had an email this morning from my credit card company saying there was suspicious activity on my card. Oh crap! I called them and talked to a guy named "Andy" who could barely speak english. It turns out the supicious activity was lunch at the Olive Garden restaurant with my family Saturday afternoon. We go there at least twice a month. The other was Netflix. They've been charging my card monthly for a year now.

I guess it's better that they are watching over some charges, but they scared me. I did recently have trouble with my cc. Someone got my number and used it to start a Dish Network account. I'm ashamed to say, I don't always look over my statements (I will now!), but several months of service were charged to me. I had to pay for a few of those months because I reported it too late. :-? So now I have a new card.

So much for my sob story today. It's supposed to be sunny and 70° tomorrow!

Happy Monday! Well I am sick once again. Nothing serious I think its just a cold but I do have a terrible headache and body aches...I hate that! Anyway we are suppose to get some nasty ice tomorrow into Wednesday. Another storm could come in Saturday...PLEASEEE dont snow/ice/sleet anything like that on Saturday. Its my oldest Son's 4th Birthday party and last year we had to cancel and reschdule because we had a blizzard! Hope everyone is doing well!

Good Morning, new week Friends.

Well, we've made it to the last day of January and stand on the threshhold of a new month.
One that contains not one, but TWO Milestones on our march back to the Christmas Season.
The first one is now but 12 days away, the 25 percent Season mark. (And that's almost SINGLE DIGITS!)
Days to the Season: 286
Days to Christmas Day: 328

Well we are in for a chilly day sandwiched in between 2 warm ones.
We topped out in the upper 60's yesterday and will be near 60 tomorrow.
Today, however, we will be lucky to reach the mid-40's.
(No precip, though)

Well, DH informed me yesterday that we would have to get a new Christmas tree this year. He broke the stand for the old one when he was moving things around in the garage.:-? We've had it for ten years, the wire on the branches was rusting, and a couple of years ago I had to put colored electrical tape on them to keep the color coding system on them because the rust had taken over the paint that was on them. I suppose it really was time for a new tree anyway!

The last time we looked for a tree, we drove around for hours to Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target & Lowes. We ended up at a Wal-Mart 45 minutes from home to buy a tree that we could have gotten at the Wal-Mart 10 minutes from home! Another tree buying adventure this year for us. :tree:

Well that doesnt sound like such a bad thing!!!~ Have you loked online or anything do see what kind of styles there are etc? Maybe you can go online and buy one.
