We got it from my grandmother's house after she passed, my uncle told us to choose whatever we wanted, I picked that and it happens to be 35 years old, I would've been devastated if that had broken, that was the only thing I was thinking about when I saw the cabinet on the floor.

Us, too ... we've been known to fix hot dogs and watch DVDs of classic Red Sox games. I also like to catch some of the Puppy Bowl, especially the half-time show with the kittens.

I hope all this snow will be gone in time for first pitch at Fenway on April 8, or by then you may be able to walk over the Green Monster. cheesy

Those are truly the most precious of decorations. I have one from the 40's my parents brought with them from Holland when they immigrated here. It is so fragile now that i can only display it in a special box. I would be so sad if something happened to that too.

That reminds me...I bought the first Christmas presents for this year! Found a couple of large cups with saucers, beautifully decorated that talks about friends getting together for lunch. They are going to be for my two best friends who I happen to have lunch dates with once a mont!

Just watching the news listening to them talk about the "calm before the storm" and now they are talking about another snowstorm for Saturday. If I stick a red flag in the front yard can someone find it and dig out our front door and free us from all this snow burying us. cheesy
