Uh oh. It should have been you BC. What happened?? Anyway, we made it to 3,600!!! Yippee. I forgot to tell you that the prize is a trip to New York City in spring! Thank you, thank you, one and all. I will cherish this prize forever!!!

Good night, Christmas friends. We did ourselves proud this first month of 2011!! What a great group we have here!
 
I am getting ready to crank up the heat and head to bed. Hopefully we don't lose power overnight but I have the candles and flashlights laid out just in case. Goodnight and I hope everyone stays safe!!!!!!!

I forgot write this earlier, when I got home from work I was talking to my wife and we realized LC snuck down into the basement, I went down to get him and he was in the room that is closed off from the cats, I told him to get up the stairs, and I notice the cabinets that were on the wall had fallen off at some point. My heart dropped when I saw it laying there, because that is where I store all my fragile Christmas decorations, I was almost in tears I couldn't even think. I put on my shoes and started going through what I thought was going to be carnage. Wow glad all is ok, it really can be so heartbreaking when things you really like or have had for many years get broken.

Well I hope you stay warm all night and keep power as well. I hate seeing ice storm power outages, takes so long to get stuff back up and fixed.
 
Well maybe sticking my head on a chopping block but noticed something of late on here that semi bothers me. I do enjoy seeing many different people post on here, what all are up to, sharing thoughts and so on. And I like seeing a record number of members doing so. But if it’s just numbers we want then I can sit here and post nothing but three or four words or tell a story three words at a time all night long and get us to maybe even 5000 mark. If I had got busy half an hour ago could easily have gotten us to 4000 for January.


To me it is all about the quality of the conversation in the posts not the number of posts.


Maybe as well I am all wrong. Setting records is nice as well but sometimes in setting records the overall objective is lost.

Just saying what is on my mind is all and something I have notice past week or so.

I wonder what the weather is going to bring this month around here there is really no telling.. last year was very cold,and some years can be like march all month long. I guess time will tell. Have a good morning everyone! and try to keep warm everyone in the Northern states!

I am getting ready to type. Tomorrow is my last day with my present company. UGH. Still running out of work so I know I made the right decision in leaving. I can tell by the times of the dictations I currently have in my queue that I will run out of work today too. Good grief !! Anyway, the storm is supposed to hit us too as well as lot of others on the boards so I hope all stay warm and safe. I had better try to get typing now the little bit of work that I have but I will be back later !! Oh and........... I LOVE JAYISH !!

You have a good morning as well. Who knows what this weather is going to be like anywhere this year. The snow has started here is light so far but winds starting to really blow last half hr my thing here at home shows a 31mph gust already so it's close to hitting here.

The news is calling this morning the calm before the storm. We will see. How are others in the path of this storm doing? Are you getting as much snow as predicted?

I have to do a bit of running around this morning, but after that can batten down the hatches and relax.

Checking in again, Christmas family.

The bad weather has started here. The roads are an icy nasty mess and all the schools are closed. My husband has ventured out to the store in his truck. I hope he will be okay becaue his truck slips really bad on the ice !! I am waiting, waiting, and waiting on work. That is about it for now. Oh, I LOVE JAYISH !!!!! cheesy
 
I'm about to leave work to go get groceries and pick my granny from the airport! It sounds as though virtually every member on here is having the winter storm...as for now it is just overcast here. The rain will arrive tonight and clear up and be cooler tomorrow before more rains comes tomorrow night!! what a wierd pattern! Oppps forgot to tell everyone to be careful stay inside if you can!

Xmas365, I love the Fenway siggy! Oh, for a warm, sunny baseball day ... Keep safe in this storm. As for Saturday ... I don't want to think about that yet.

What a thought. I guess the box seats are getting buried about now.

Wasn't it 1995 or 1996 when opening day at Fenway was snowed out? Ugh.
