Well my wife is feeling much better today. Still a bit weak and drained from yesterday. She is just gonna relax and take it easy today and try to get her energy back. She usually works on Sunday, but she already let them know that wasn't gong to happen today.

I am glad to hear that she is starting to feeling better!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your well wishes. I missed out on a whole day of MMC! I don't remember ever feeling that sick! I (sorta) slept from 10 pm Friday night until 6:30 pm Saturday evening. Some of my night was spent laying next to the toilet. Yuck! I just couldn't keep anything down.

I felt so bad for Wayne because I am not the type to say "do this and do that" but I had no choice and had him running back and forth to get things for me and help me out all night Friday and all day Saturday. I was so weak that I felt like I was going to pass out if I stood up. I kept telling him "I'm sorry" and kept thanking him for helping me. He didn't understand why I kept apologizing but I just hate to keep running him around like I did.

Finally about 7:00 pm I did manage to eat a few crackers and some sip on some vegetable broth. This morning I got down a piece of toast.

I still feel very weak and it will take some time to get better.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is going to be a great day here even though it is raining outside. My cousin and his wife are coming over to watch the daytona 500. My neighbor said he may also come over. I have the chili in the crock pot and the pizza's and steak fries are ready to go in the oven. Now I am just waiting on the race to start. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, so its only 5 days untill the next rudolph day, thats insane, it only feels like yesterday since the last!

Really sorry I haven;t been on very frequently lately, things have just been so busy, still love reading everyones thoughts though!

The temp is rising by the day here, which means summer is on its way, and once summer has gone, christmas will be just around the corner! Rather looking forword to November when the season really kicks off!

Greetings my fellow Christmas lovers and very happy Sunday and happy race day! I have high hopes for Kasey starting in the 11 hole. Enjoy!

Good morning,

I feel sick as a dog today, it has progressively gotten worse all week, we have so many things to do today. We are going to see how much Uncle Sam owes us back for last year, then we have our belated Valentine's lunch. My wife's other grandmother is in the hospital now also with pneumonia and her lungs are filling with fluid and her heart is weakening, so she wants to run down to the hospital to see her since it may be her last chance, she put her self on the do not resuscitate list, I think she has wanted to "go home" for the last few years she misses her husband who died back in the 90's. I will not be able to go in unfortunately while I am sick though. My wife's grandmother in Canada is not much better either but she has been eating again.

Have a good day.

Good Second-Half-of-the-Weekend Morning, Friends and Christmas Neighbors!

Don't humor him.....
It's too late. Carl informs me his coffee-school paste blend is ready and he wants you to be the first to try some. Plans to advertise it as "the coffee that really sticks to your ribs". Lordy!
(Wonder why he wants Binger for the taste test?..........Oh, yeah. Of course. Silly me.)

And with that shuddery thought, on with the count:
Days to the Season: 266
Days to Christmas Day: 308
The 300-Day Christmas Day Milestone arrives one week from tomorrow.
(Now there's a thought that can really stick with you, coffee or not.)

Nice and calm with lots of sun outside here at this hour.
We stand at a still coolish 48 on the way up to the upper 50's by this afternoon. Still no rain until at least Tuesday, and then it's only a 20 percent chance.
(Good time to get in some of that outdoor work!)

Well, you have a Super Sunday and a Rousing Rest of the Weekend, Folks!

Glad you are feeling a little better. It might take a few days until you feel like you are back in the land of the living. Take care! I am sure Snow-in-Texas did a great job!

Good morning, Christmas friends. Woke up to frost here in northern California. It stayed cold all day yesterday, so it will probably do the same today. We have another day of making the Italian noodles and then should be finished. I hope everyone has a great day. I guess the wanted posters put out with my face on them precludes my being able to steal anymore snow. And here I thought I was just being a good citizen. At least, though, I was never caught with the goods!!!
