Wow that was one wild night at the Pines!!!!!!! Carl was definitely in a good mood after his starring role in the opera. The coffee was great as usual but it did have a different taste to it. I was afraid to ask what was in it but it definitely gave it a unique flavor.

Thanks for the prayers everyone!!!!!! Right now they are 99% sure that it is nothing to worry about but they want her to have another scan in 6 months just to make sure that nothing changes.

Glad to here they are saying nothing to worry about.

I noticed on my way home the animal hospital finally took down their Christmas lights and snowmen, that leaves only one more house with lights on, on my trip home at night. November can't come fast enough for me to see more lights. I hope your Wednesday was a good one.

I'm surprised and happy that there are still five decorated homes on my route home from work: two have white outdoor lights, one has a candle in each window, and two have LEDs on an outdoor evergreen. Only three or four are lighted on a given evening, but I'll take what I can get. It still makes me smile to see a lighted evergreen in March!

Wow, we got blasted by rain yesterday afternoon! After the heavy rain slowed, it continued to gently rain all night. I'm not complainin, mind you. We can use all the rain we can get.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is big-time overcast and windy here in northern California. Hubby and I attended Ash Wednesday Mass last night, the beginning to our Lenten season. Had a fish sandwich afterwards for dinner. I hope everyone stays well and experiences good news today. Loving-good vibrations going out for Jayish! Comforting thoughts, too. A house one street down from my father's puts on a big sound and light show most Christmas seasons. Most of it is still up, including giant stars mounted on poles on the roof, lights all along the eves, big wreaths on the walls and a huge Christmas tree in the front yard!
We see it every day when we walk his dog.
