Christmas Countdown - 2011

Good Morning! Signed in a had a few messages from those concerned of mine and Wayne's absence. I didn't realize it but it's probably been 5 or 6 days since I have been on and not sure how long for Wayne. We have both been under the weather and busy too. I had to cancel my 5k race yesterday and very bummed out about that! :-? I just couldn't run feeling that bad. They have nearly 4000 participants enter. Sounded like great fun but might try for another race in a few weeks if everything goes well. I am still not feeling great and hope I get better this week. It will be busy for me again! Wayne seems to be feeling a bit better.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!! It is a cold cloudy day here in central Indy. I don't have much planned for today. I am thinking about popping in a christmas movie and doing some baking. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas Vacation is on Comedy Central right now!

Good afternoon,

We have been busy today, getting ready for LC's 3rd birthday next Sunday, picked up all the plates and napkins, etc... He loves Transformers, especially Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, he got his love of them from his brothers toys, so he is having a Transformers bowling party at our local lanes. Been so busy I remembered on the way home that today is the 20th anniversary of my mother's passing, I guess it has been good being so busy, I didn't have a sad day, actually has been a very good day.

Hey everyone! What a great weekend I have had and I so don't want it to end! I have lost my voice which I never have had that happen before. The problem is I am in the middle of teaching a 3 week class! I don't have a cold but all of a sudden I try to speak and it sounds like I am going through puberty again! Anyhow It feels great to still have daylight out when it is 630 pm! I hope everyone has a great evening!

well...it ended up being another great day. warmed up quite a bit, but never got as warm as it was supposed to...but it was warm enough to stay outside for most of the day.

watching hottub time machine....drinking coffee....and filling out my ncaa bracket...

five days from right now, I will be the happiest person alive. I can't wait for spring break....

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is an overcast day here in northern California and little on the cool side. I worked with hubby out at his mom's ranch pulling wires for the new whole-house air conditioner. I was exhausted yesterday evening. I bumped my head three times in the same place and had a whopper of a goose egg! We are off to Mass in about 15 minutes. This afternoon I will join hubby at the parish hall for the Portuguese Festa. It is always a blast. My son is safe. Talk to y'all later.

I hope your head gets better! I am glad your son is safe but I am not sure what he is safe from? I'm sorry, I have been away awhile and couldn't find where you mentioned about your son. I am glad all is good though!

My oldest grandson's birthday is this Saturday!

I am glad you got to spend the anniversary of your mom's passing doing something nice. I am sure your mom would have wanted it that way.

I noticed a lot of you watched, Christmas Vacation, today. Wayne said he watched it while I was at work.

Isn't it funny how we can own the dvd of the movie and can watch it anytime but it just seems special when it comes on tv during an off time? cheesy

Well, all good things must come to an end....and this weekend has been good. I love working outside and playing in the yard. I know that there is much to do and one of the things I'm trying to do is get all the things done outside so I can get my Christmas decorations the way I want them. Man, it sure is fun getting started.

Already planning for next weekend. There is going to be a race Saturday night and basketball games....therefore.....there will be a cookout at my house. Going to buy groceries tomorrow night to begin preparing. Excited already!!
