Good Morning, Sunday Friends and Weekend Appreciators.

Straight to the count this fine AM:
Days to the Season: 238
Days to Christmas Day: 280
Less than one week now until Milestone #5, the 1/4 mark to Christmas Day!
We are so moving, Folks!

And a fine AM it is, albeit a tad chilly at 50 degrees.
But the skies are sunny and the prediction is for a great afternoon with the high about 60.
(More great walking weather!)

Have a Super Sunday, Everyone!
And a Restful Remainder of the Weekend.

Hi guys!!! I haven't been on much with the warmer weather.. the boys and I have been spending our days outside!
I miss you all! This year is already flying by... can't believe we're only a bit more htan 4 months from Christmas in July!!!!!!! I'm already scoping out my local thrift stores for fun Christmas decorations! :)

What is new???

Good morning! did anyone see the big beautiful full moon last night?(no seriously) it was suppose to be closest one to the earth for the next 18 years or so. I took a few pics but they did not come out very well. It is kind of cloudy here this morning but I think its just low clouds that will burn off soon. I am leaving the beautiful state of Mass, and by sundown I want to be in the wild and wonderful state of West Virginia. I have never driven through steep mountains before and I have read where on I-77 through west virginia and western virginia you are up high and can look down thousands of feet right on the road so this should be fun fun fun!! Have a great day everyone!

Congrats Seawaters on 10,000 !!

I guess since 30,000 is in need of serious help, I must be on the way to certifiable cheesy

As you're past 30,000, I reckon you're past helping ... keep on posting!

On a serious note, I am just so sad. Knut the polar bear just died today....He was only 4.

RIP Knut........xo

Sorry to hear the sad news. Knut is now with Santa's bears in spirit.

I woke up in the wee hours and remembered to take a look outside. It's always impressive when the moonlight is strong enough to cast shadows! And it did look bigger than usual. It was at the level of the streetlights, which diminished it a little, but it was still a glorious sight.

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone!

I agree Merry. Thank you ! I had thought yesterday when I found out about Knut of writing that He was now a polar bear with Santa's Polar Bear-Gade in the North Pole !! So since two great minds have thought alike it is official. Santal welcomes Knut to join with the other bears in a perpetual CHRISTmas celebration. xo Oh and yes, I am quite beyond hope so I will keep on posting !!

My husband and I did the half marathon years ago. I was just happy to finish! Never again. It was rewarding but absolutely exhausting. Thank goodness I was not last! I will stick to 5K.

Good morning everyone :)
its another nice day here, abit on the cold side agaib though...
Its going to be an interesting day today, its the Hastings half maraton today (where i'm living).
Its become very popular over the years, and is one of the half maratons where the runners prepare for the London Maraton. I think its about 13 miles!! and alot of the course is up hill!
I haven't run it, but every year i say to myself that i will.
There are alot of charities to my heart, it would be good raising some money for them.
I'm going to do it one of these years, but at lest our house is on the course, so i can watch and surpport the people who did decide to run.

Anyway, i hope everyone has a nice sunny sunday :)

hey my friends. been a good day today....been helping some friends to take out their carpet in the hallway....that carpet was glued on the wood boards so hard.....it felt like trying to tear concrete apart....lol....but we made it

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is overcast again here in northern California. The dinner last night at the Elks was wonderful. The officers cooked the meal and had to go buy more food because so many people showed up! Now, on another note: Remember how I asked, nay, BEGGED, for some of you to send me your surplus snow? Remember? Did anyone send me any? NO! But now I didn't even ask for the flu bug that was going around the forum and some sneaky person (I don't know who the culprit is, but I will find out) sent it to me, free of charge. Now what kind of Christmas friend is that, I ask you? Okay, who is going to admit doing the deed?

Well I tried.! I checked out of my hotel this morning, but only made it 150 miles until I had to stop for the night. I was very drowzy and I was afraid to drive further while I am taking this medication. It looks like a slow day around here, everyone is out enjoying the warm weather! At this pace I will be home in a week, but I can't worry myself with this it will only make it worse. I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend. Boy they sure do come an go quickly!

I have an alibi! mine is laryngitis!!! I do hope you get to feeling better!((passes the Kleenex))

Happy first day of spring! We are moving right along in the year. For me the closer we get into the summer months the further I feel from the holidays. I have to remind myself that every day is getting closer and closer. Really the way time moves it will be here fast, and I will be saying "what happened to this year"!!

Happy first day of spring, everyone!

I am so tired right now, and it's only 6:45pm! I had to get up before 5am to work at Kohl's, my first day in the cash office by myself! I did okay...took way longer than I had intended...you're supposed to be able to complete it in an hour and a half, but it took me 3 hours! Fortunately the timing wasn't my fault, it was the fault of the closer from last night, but still...I don't like taking THAT long to do a job (whether it was my first day or not!).

After work, I went out shopping with my boyfriend and we got some cool stuff (including a $50 PS3 gift card for $35 at an electronics store that's going out of business, so now we can buy more songs for Rock Band! lol). We also went grocery shopping, which was MUCH needed! =)

Now I'm just at home celebrating Duke's (much too close) win over Michigan (yay my bracket's still alive!) and downloading some songs to Rock Band (No Doubt & Nickelback track packs, Fame by David Bowie, and Shooting the Moon by OK Go are the selections so far).

Happy Sunday, everyone! :)

We went to church then I went to work. It was very busy at work today, everyone is out planting their gardens and buying up the plants.

We got our chicks and ducks in for the spring season and they are selling out the day they arrive. We will continue getting them in until last part of May then will not sell them again until next Spring.

I can't wait until we get baby geese in. They are soooooooo cute! They have cute personalities, when you talk to them they stretch their necks up at you and talk along with you. They should arrive within a couple of weeks.

Good afternoon, everyone. I went back to the doctor and he said to stay off work for another week. I cannot believe how exhausted I have felt each day. I washed my hair yesterday and it was killer using my right arm. Then we went to the lodge for dinner and my hair got wet from the rain. In addition, we couldn't see that beautiful moon because of the clouds and rain. Bummer.

No one has confessed yet to the flu bug. Okay, who was it??? I hope the rest of your day is a great one.
