Good morning, Christmas friends. It is overcast again here in northern California. The dinner last night at the Elks was wonderful. The officers cooked the meal and had to go buy more food because so many people showed up! Now, on another note: Remember how I asked, nay, BEGGED, for some of you to send me your surplus snow? Remember? Did anyone send me any? NO! But now I didn't even ask for the flu bug that was going around the forum and some sneaky person (I don't know who the culprit is, but I will find out) sent it to me, free of charge. Now what kind of Christmas friend is that, I ask you? Okay, who is going to admit doing the deed?

It wasn't me. cheesy

Well I tried.! I checked out of my hotel this morning, but only made it 150 miles until I had to stop for the night. I was very drowzy and I was afraid to drive further while I am taking this medication. It looks like a slow day around here, everyone is out enjoying the warm weather! At this pace I will be home in a week, but I can't worry myself with this it will only make it worse. I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend. Boy they sure do come an go quickly!

Hope you feel better.

Good evening,

LC's birthday was great, he enjoyed himself so much, he loved the bowling, he got a 52 as a 3 year old. (of course the lane had the bumpers) I can't believe I don't have a 2 year old anymore, and we are 99.99% sure we will not have anymore kids at this point. My boys are growing up so quickly. He loved all the toys he got, he had such a great smile all day long.
When we got home I finally took down all of my outdoor Christmas lights (except the ones on the roofline) the yard looks so empty now since everything has been up for the last 5 months.

Have a great night!

We had a great day yesterday! My day started at 5:30 am and went all the way until 10 pm when I finally got some sleep.

Right as the sun came out I went for a jog around the school and Wayne joined me! He said he wanted to give it a try. I would love to have someone to train with so I hope he continues.

We then ran around most the day getting errands done, went out to eat and then to the lake to celebrate my grandson's 7th birthday! I cannot believe he is already 7!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Happy b-day to your grandson!

Stay safe and enjoy the drive!!!!!!!

Ok now I am really heading to bed.

I'm so excited it's going to be in the 80's and 90's down there! I NEED the warmer weather!!! I hope it stays that way through the next week. Haven't yet decided if I'm going to visit my old stomping grounds in Valdosta or just stay in Florida, either way it will be nice to wear shorts! :)

It is going to be in the low 80's the next 10 days. rain possible next weekend but we need it.it has been a very dry march. the lows in the morning are going to be in the mid 50's. Be careful on your trip and have fun too...and if you stop in valdosta go to the mellow mushroom and ask for Neal...I will buy you a beer if I am there!:snowball:

Hmmm. I may just have to have a talk with that camel. And I thought he loved the new maple-bacon coffee I gave him! I am not happy with that little prank, but I don't think he knows any better. To him, everything is funny!

Did I hear Carl sneeze on Wednesday and Thursday ... ?

And with this post on LC's birthday, Xmas365 is poster #6,500! Now you can tell him that his daddy is a prize winner of a piece of tin foil!

Good Morning MMC !

Monday morning already!!! Nice to be able to say good morning today.

The truck is in having the heater fixed so I got to stay in a hotel for the night. Usually my morning is get up, dressed, breakfast, check truck and hit the road. Today's load only needs to be dropped an hour down the road, so we can take it a little slower this morning.

Hope you all have a fantastic day!!

Well I think it may be time to get a new car, depends on what the mechanic tells me. A few years ago I was in an accident which damaged my rack and pinion, among other things. The people that did the repair did not do a very good job, I took my car back 3 or 4 times, one of which was to replace the rack and pinion they put in because it was leaking. Well I ended up paying to replace it last year with someone different, now it is leaking again. It has a lifetime warranty on it, but if it is going to be an ongoing problem, I might just have to get rid of the car. Problem is I can't afford a new car.

And you haven't lived until you've heard a camel sneeze!

Good Morning, Everyone!

First full day of Spring!
Speaking of that, let's spring forward into another count post:
Days to the Season: 237
Days to Christmas Day: 279
Yes, Folks. We are springing right along through our count toward yet another Christmas Season.
A scant 5 days remain between us and the 1/4 mark to Christmas Day.
Wowzers!

Speaking of Spring reminds me of springs which reminds me of mattresses which reminds me of beds which reminds me of........well........
yawwwwwwwwn!

Overcast here at this hour but the weather service says we only have a 10 percent chance of rain and should reach 74 by this afternoon.
Nice!

You have a Marvelous Monday, Friends.
I hope your week is off to a great start!

I love the Mellow Mushroom in Savannah, and they just opened one in Statesboro, too! I tried to talk the family into a weekend at Wild Adventures in Valdosta this summer, but I was out-voted. Now I have to go to Orlando. I HATE Orlando in the summer.

If gas keeps going up, you might consider an electric golf cart! Hey, I drive mine to work on nice days, sometimes. Of course, I only live 2 miles away.
Good luck!
