Good Morning Christmas friends....I have not slept till 1130 since my 20's! but I have today...i am pooped! I drove till 230 am...and I have made a decision... when I retire in a few years I am now moving too West virginia or somewhere in the Mid-atlantic....I freaking loved it! I always pictured myself retiring in my home state of Georgia..but that was before I moved back and forgot about alot of things that go along with living there (ie knats,heat,humidity,no snow,short falls,summers that last 9 months spring allergies,which turn into summer and fall allergies)and that is just to name a few.I will always be a Dawgs fan. and go to the Ga football games...but I have been seriosuly reconsidering this for a while now. Bradmac don't hate me now!! anyways I drove all night.until I got to Charlotte,Nc then the seasons suddenly went from winter into spring just like that...everything is blooming and bees are buzzing about..I have about 6 more hours to go then I will be home. have a great day everyone!

I felt the same way after being in GA for 7 years! I liked it at first because it was so different from PA (and I LOVED hot weather...still do), but I missed actual seasons, and now that I'm back in PA, I don't know if I could go back to a southern climate. The mid-Atlantic is great, honestly...I hope to eventually end up either here in PA, or maybe northern Virginia. =)

Spring has defenitely started in Holland, it's beautiful sunny weather, and flowers are peeping up every where... Also I got great news today: I will be accepted at the university of my choice for my Masters degree! I am so glad and cheerful!!

Anyone else doing this? Hoping for Christmas stuff in the stores? I tend to peek around places looking for Christmas stuff hehe. Shhhhh don't tell my Wife!

I work in a card/gift shop and we still have Christmas stuff left over! I look at it every time I work and try my hardest not to buy anything (and it's hard at 75% off!)...I already went overboard with buying Christmas cards and ornaments. =p

Wanted to pop in to say hello to everyone. We got a heap of snow (about 2ft to be exact). Real heavy, wet snow. Made me think of all of you. You wouldn't believe how many tree branches have snapped and fallen to the ground, power out in some parts of town and many bushes and smaller trees "hunched" over. Hard to look outside and think it's spring. I hope everyone is doing well.

Hello all!

Finally at the end of a very long day! Had to work both jobs today, I always end up feeling so tired on those days.

I'm planning on going to Hump Day Happy Hour with a group of friends from my first job tomorrow...before going to the second job, haha. Guess I can't get too happy now, can I?

I still haven't started packing for my Florida trip...probably won't get to until Thursday night/Friday morning, and I leave Friday night. There's just so much to do around the house, plus working both jobs every day through Thursday...I'm going to be so exhausted. =(

We had a lady at the card shop today who stayed in the store until 15 minutes after closing...and she knew we were closed too! Am I alone in thinking that's ignorant? Maybe I've just worked in retail too long...

Hope everyone has a good night, and even though I'm not sure exactly what this means - COACH IS #1!!!!! =D

Friends, today was a good day. I didn't do a thing that was productive. I was just very lazy. Hung out all day...and it was nice. Tomorrow, I plan on doing the same! My friend came by today and dug the other hole for me. Took a grand total of 1 minute and 15 seconds. He laughed as he pulled off. My wife is leaving town so tomorrow night I am taking him to a ballgame and to eat. Can't wait! As for "Coach is #1 Day", it was funny seeing that in the posts. Thanks for the laugh! I appreciate....and you, Binger.

I am home and im not even getting my clothes out of the car. I am so tired but my dogs are so happy to see me. I guess they thought I left them for good. I have got alot to do around the yard. The grass needs cutting etc etc...I am going to plant a small garden as well.Tomato,potato and peas and onions. then late summer I am going to try my hand at pumpkins..I think I am too far south for pumkins but I will try. Everyone have a good day!

I attempted growing pumpkins one year but only got great big leaves without the pumpkins. I might attempt again sometime. Here you have to plant by June in order for the pumpkins to be fully grown by October. Since you are in the south like me, you might have to plant early as well? Not sure but you might check it out. Then again, you might have already researched that so I will put my foot in my mouth. He he! cheesy

We might get to see the great Darlene Love this fall at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Also, go to Santa Claus, Indiana!

Wayne and I are talking about taking a road trip in the fall. Our plans are to go to Maryland to see his family, Washington D.C. for Smithsonian and White House. After that, on the way back home, stop over to Cleveland for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Football Hall of Fame, then Dayton, Ohio Air Museum then to Santa Claus, Indiana and stay at a camp resort called Santa's Lakeside Cottages.

I hope all works out that we can go!

And we can always count on Carl for lots of fired twinkies ("fired" just right) with plenty of sweet southern iced tea to wash it down (and get the taste of Carl's experimental veggie coffee out of our mouths, should we be bold enough to try some!).

Well, we can count on it being UNDER half a week away now from the 1/4 Christmas Day Milestone, that's what!

A bit overcast here this morning with a pretty good chance of rain this evening and tomorrow. The thermometer reads 56 as I type this.
We could still use more of the wet stuff as it continues rather dry here with wildfire warnings out.
