Hilarious!

I would like to thank God for making this all possible. My Parents for bringing me into this world. Mr. Westover for having such a wonderful site and of course Bradmac for taking those few extra seconds to drink his coffee before he posted!!!!!!!! cheesy

Good afternoon, everyone. It is chilly and overcast right now. My husband had all the doors and windows open to air out the house. He also did the lawn work, so the Capt. Kirk phaser would have helped him out! I have physical therapy tomorrow. I was in some pain today, so I am not looking forward to it. Oh, well, no pain, no gain. I hope y'all gave a great evening. If I can, I will check in later.

IT's been a very long day...Went to the vet to go over my dogs test results and prepay for her allergy shots. I also had to buy her venison flavored dog food because she is allergic to every thing else..Now I have to figure out how I am going to separate the dogs so my 120 pound bull dog won't eat all of the little ones special food. it sounds simple I know but this is going to be a pain. And it is going to take dedication on my part not to give in and give her any rice, beef or pork while I am eating..I have fet her table scraps since she was a pup 9 years ago.I know bad me...other than that I have to clean clean clean because I have not given my house the attention it deserves since I left out of town the first of March...I hope everyone has a good night!
Are you able to just feed all the dogs the same food? That would be so much easier if you could.

We don't have any Chick-Fil-A up here, I have gone to a few when I have visited my sister and brother-in-law in North Carolina, the chicken is really good, and I think it was the first time I had chicken for breakfast one of the times I went. cheesy

I worked for the company for about 3 years before anyone could convince me to try chicken for breakfast LOL! Once I did, though, there was no turning back!!! Love it :) Some of the yummiest food out there and I still eat it every day by choice - even after 14 years of working there!

Yes CAH I have thought about that too...I had to buy a 30 pound bag at the vet's for 60 bucks today..my bulldog would go through that in a few days. and i simply can't afford that..The vet gave me a list of manufactors that could be cheaper at walmart. My bulldog eats way too much and I need to cut him back, problem is I am always gone and so I leave the food down on the floor.ugh..I tell you pets are just like having children(i dont have kids so I dont know for sure).I am like a single dad!! I am having a hard time adjusting!

Eating lunch right now...I have been craving a pepsi all morning and I just gave in and drank one and feel guilty now. I have total OCD when it comes to my food intake and I accept that. I have tried the diet pepsi and would rather just drink flavored water. everyone I talk too says I would eventually get use to diet soda's but I never can get past the first drink of it. It's the sugar I crave I guess. I just checked the weather and we are getting 2inches of rain tommorrow! this should make for a fun day at work(dripping with sarcasm)! I always respect the guys that work at huge airport control towers but especially in tough wx conditions! almost half way to 5! have a good day folks!

I struggle so much working in a restaurant - I drink soda ALL day EVERY day. Its so bad! Its not even the caffeine - I just loooooooove the taste!

My kids ages 9 & 4 don't drink soda either. Last year our oldest asked if she could try some soda so we let her but she did not like it. It was not the taste but the carbination that she did not like. They drink milk, water and sometimes juice. We go through roughly 4 - 5 gallons of milk a week.
When ever our kids go to friends birthday parties, we send bottle water along with them because most times these parties only serve soda. We have had parents of others kids in attendance ask us how we got them NOT to drink soda.. simple.. we don't offer soda to kids in our house.

Since I drink so much soda, I don't really let my daughter drink it either. She'll drink a little if I let her, but it just isn't something we keep at the house and she'd choose milk any day over a coke. I'm crossing my fingers that it sticks!

I know right!? it's something about the fizzyness of it for me.I have thought about just drinking carbonated water, there is just something about the carbonation factor the I like about soda's!

Oh my goodness! That is very expensive dog food! At that cost it would cost way to much to let everyone eat it. I sure hope you can find it at a better price.

You are right, dogs are like having kids but you don't have to worry about them hanging around the wrong crowd, back talking you or getting calls from school that they are not doing their school work. Dogs also think you are perfect 24/7. Human kids go through stages that mom and dad don't know anything and not so perfect.

I LOVE my doggies!

I forgot to add. My dog is allergic to cats..I don't even have cats! she is allergic to mold and cats the most..Only thing I can think of is maybe some people had cats that lived here before me. I don't know but he has ordered 5 months worth of allergy shots and next week I go in to learn how to give my baby shots. I will have to give them to her every other day at first, then taper off until I only have to give her one a week or two. I bet once she see's the needle I will have to pry her out from under my bed.:(

Hey everyone! Its been a long, cold and generally yucky day today. Made some progress on the new store today and passed health inspections and fire inspections. 2 more inspections to go and we get possession of the building on Friday! Woo hoo! Life is going to get real crazy starting next week until we open on the 14th (and the next month after that LOL).

They're still talking about possibility of snow tonight. Its just raining for now, so I'm holding out hope that it doesn't get cold enough to switch to snow.

We had people out yesterday and today to see about remodeling our bathroom. We just got our money back from Uncle Sam and hope that the bids come in with in our price range. It will be so nice to finally have a new bath - we've wanted to do it since we bought the house 6 years ago! Eventually we'll get the house to how we dreamed it when we bought it. But by then, it will probably be time to move LOL. That's how it usually works, right??!

On another note, I found out this evening that a family friend of ours committed suicide. I'm just at a loss of how to deal with this. She is probably 5 years younger than me and has always been so full of life. Her parents played a major role in my life growing up and as a young married couple. I can't imagine the pain that they are feeling right now. Please pray for this family, if you don't mind.

I think its a combo of the fizzy AND sweet for me - which is why the carbonated water just never cuts it for me! Maybe the flavored ones, though? There's got to be a better fizzy option out there!

I gave up sugary sodas last April, it was tough at first, but I did it and I drink Coke Zero instead of regular, I lost 20 pounds, and don't really have a hankering for it anymore. I also like flavored sparkling water also.

Hey whitney! yeah I have it's better than diet pepsi I agree, but still not the same.. I drink about one can of pepsi a week..but i have the tendency to run away with it,back over Christmas vacation I was drinking about 12 cans a day,my Dr warned me I would get kidney stones(what I hear is the male equiv.of childbirth) and that scared the bejeesus out of me so I stopped..cheesy

Wow! 12 cans.

When my Dr. was talking to me about soda, and quitting the regular. He said if you have 1 can per day for a month, that it is equal to 1lb in empty calories, I was drinking between 40-60oz a day, that is how I lost 20lbs so quickly.

I can't remember what it was I had, but it intrigued me enough to try it for breakfast.
It is also amazing the different fast food chains that were down in N.C. compared to up here. We don't have Jack In The Box, Steak & Shake, Waffle House, Sonic, Chick fil a, Bojangles, just to name a few. I feel deprived. :-?
