Insane weather here! I have been running the heater for the past 5 days because it's so cold. Sunday the temperature will be almost 90 degrees! Typical Texas weather. =) :cry:

I was reading in my local paper of the lady in florida who fell in a sink hole in her own yard! luckily she had her cell phone in her hand. Just thinking about that makes me claustraphobic. I guess the ground was saturated and gave way when she walked across the yard. She is okay luckily they got her out. Hope everyone has a great day!

Exactly. DD says it "stings her tounge". She drinks milk, water, or sweet tea. I don't know how much better sweet tea is for her, but she doesn't drink it a lot.

Maybe that's why I need to drink the Pepsi Max instead of Pepsi & DH's horribly sweet Mt. Dew. that would put me back at pre-baby weight, & my baby will be six-years-old in June!

DD wanted to wear her new sandals to school this morning, but it's still highs in the 50's here.

DD got her yellow belt in karate class last night. She was so excited & wanted to know how to get the other color belts. We never told her about getting a new color belt when she took her test. She just thought she was supposed to take a test. I figured it might make her nervous if she thought a new belt was on the line. We told her she has to pay attention & concentrate to learn new, harder things so she can pass the tests for other belts. We'll see how it goes. She's been going to class for four months now.
 
It is snowing like CRAZY! Blowing & snowing...is it really April in 2 days??? :o Looks like I should have brought "sleighride" coffee to the pines today!!! :)
 
I don't know what happened to the weather. The other day it was 80 degrees and lately it's been in the 40's and 50's. We have had periods of sleet today. However, warming is in sight and the grass still seems to be growing and the inevitable grass cutting will begin soon.

Again I'm jealous...but enjoy the snow guys! ATTN:merrycarey and Xmas 365:you guys are in line for a snow storm on friday..no april fools joke either! I think there is a Nor'Easter a comin!
 
I am so relieved today at work is almost over. I have been dreading today for a long time,I had to speak in a group of Officers and that is always intimidating..i mean I did not even sleep last night I was worried about it. I always feel like I am on trial or something. I also had to reprimand someone and I hate that,but it is part of my job. I'm just glad I don't have major stuff like this too often or I would be a total wreck.(more than I already am):) it sounds like all of us are getting rain or snow...I am enjoying this gloomy weather,I am going to go home and put on a ham and have lima beans and potato salad! have a great afternoon all!

It's cold in this house and I am about to make us banana smoothies in my new Vita Mix. I love that thing! We will all be freezing after we eat them. I make them healthy with almond milk, almonds, flax seed, nutritional yeast and coconut sugar. It taste very unhealthy but it's not! The kids LOVE IT and ask for them all the time.

I guess I should be making something warm but we are wanting a chilly drink. cheesy
 
We got about an inch of snow on the grassy areas but it already melted.:-?

It wasn't snowing when I went into the grocery store this morning but when I came out my moms car was covered. It came down really heavy for about 2 hours here.
