Finally got a good night's sleep - lots to do today so it couldn't have come at a better time. The sun is coming up over the trees and everything is sparkling with frost - seems more like October than April.

I don't know why I put this countdown ticker at the bottom for 5k race. I train 3-4 days a week but just can't seem to reach my goal to run a full race. I do searches for various forums of people training and most complain that their legs give out. My legs never give out, my oxygen level is what zaps me and I can only run so far. I am thinking that it's because I had asthma as a child. I heard you can have some permanent damage to the lungs due to this. I guess it will take more time than expected to reach my goal.

I am a little discouraged but I can't give up. Must keep moving on! cheesy

When are you coming to see us again? I'm taking Mom & DD to Sevierville next week for a couple of shopping days for DD's summer clothes. I can't wait! I don't know if we'll make it to The Incredible Christmas Place or not. I'd love to eat at The Partridge & Pear, but it's a bit expensive, I think.

I'm on vacation in about 20 minutes! A busy week next week & I'm tired already just thinking about it.

My mom went up yesterday for a few days, lucky her! It's going to be summer before we can go back, I'm afraid.

The Incredible Christmas Place is my favorite store in the wholse state of TN! And their hotel is even better! I haven't eaten at the Partridge & Pear yet, but I hope to this fall. cheesy

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends, from Bernie's Store in beautiful downtown Bellville, GA!

The field trip with my daughter to the Mighty 8th Airforce Museum was great! They have many more aircraft than the had the last time I was there. It's a super place to visit if you're ever in the Savannah area.

I'll be here all day, so my weekend is pretty uneventful.

It's hard to believe yet another week has passed and that we are already into April.

Just think - only 8 more months left to the year after this one.
(Wow! We'd better get to the count right away before it's too late!)
Days to the Season: 225
Days to Christmas Day: 267
Our next Milestone: The 1/3 Christmas Day marker, set to arrive on schedule April 26, only 24 days away now. Barely over 3 1/2 weeks!
And on the very next day, April 27, we step through the 200-Day Season window into 100's territory.
(The year is moving right along, Guys!)

Sunny but still chilly here at this hour where my thermometer reads 47 degrees. It should hit the mid 60's by this afternoon with no rain predicted.

That sounds fantastic! We have a couple of air museums here but I am looking forward to my trip to go see the other ones I had mentioned. I cannot wait to see the SR-71 Blackbird! I will get to see it twice, Smithsonian and in Dayton. I think that is the coolest military aircraft. Too bad they don't fly them anymore. It almost looks like something from Star Wars.

Good morning all... busy this morning with basic house cleaning and laundry. Heading out to a couple stores this afternoon. Hubby needs to get a new bat, batting gloves, and baseball pants.. he is playing in the local rec dept. all mens softball league again this year. He is sooo looking forward to it.

Hoping to get the grill cleaned either today or tomorrow so we can fire it up this weekend and cook some steaks. YUM

I'm off on a field trip with my daughter this morning. We're going to the Mighty 8th Airforce Museum in Savannah. I've been there before and it's great!, so I volunteered to go on this one. I mihgt stop at Bass Pro Shops afterward, too. cheesy

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is going to be a beautiful day here in central Indy with a high of 53 degrees. My plan for today is to do a quick cleaning of the whole apartment and then I am finally going to get put the new radiator in my truck. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I lost my car keys about a week ago and still cannot find them, so tomorrow is my day to really tear this house apart. Well I got the new radiator installed in my truck and I defintely have a blown head gasket. Now I am just hoping that is all it is.

All this being discouraged about running and guess what? I hopped on the treadmill this morning and ran 1 and half miles! It is a huge accomplishment for me. I have been trying to reach at least 1 mile non stop running for some time now and can only seem to reach a half mile then go back to walking. I actually made it to 1 mile and still felt great so I kept on running. I am so happy! :dance:
