Friday night my friends found a rock club with live music.So I went had a good time. Saturday night I found an early 80's new wave dance club and we went and had a blast! it was fun to forget about life for a while and just go dance and have fun. It has been a long time since I have let loose like that..I think I may have even swung around a pole a time or two but anyhow it's monday again and we are going to get bad weather tonight into tomorrow morning. I betting I will be in bed when it comes.Everyone have a great day!

Well, yesterday it was snowing like crazy here. Around 3 am I awoke to a thunderstorm and rain. More thunderstorms to come through today.
Spring, isn't it wonderful!!

Calm and sunny before the storm here this morning where we stand at a rather nice for early April 58 degrees bound for the mid-80's by this afternoon.
That as a prelude for rough weather tonight and tomorrow which the weather service says could be severe.
Exciting but worrisome!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Ouch! My back hurts! I strained it a few years back, and now it gets sore if I overdo things. I must've overdone things! Oh, welll. It'll get better.

It's a beautiful day here in southeast GA, sunny and it's supposed to get into the mid-80's. Of course, the trade-off for the nice temperature is wind, but that's ok. I have my office windows open again, a cool breeze blowing through, and a cup of fresh-ground coffee. Nice!

Taking a course of antibiotics for something I am sure does not require antbiotics but because the doc said so I am doing it... We'll see. I finally looked into my index finger being so swollen and red and doc said it is an infection. I am not a doctor but I disagree with him. Still I have to give him the benefit of the doubt so I am on a week long course of Keflex. So far I am right. The antbiotics have done nothing but I have a few more days and we will see.

Doctors can be frustrating at times but of course life savers most the time. I have sometimes felt they don't listen. When you find one that does, hang onto him or her! I hope you get well soon!

Good morning everyone! the weekend was too fast as usual. spent most of mine driving to/from the beach. As I sit here at work I wonder how I ever did what I did in my early20's which was party all night work or go to school all day without a problem! I gave up drinking when I was 23 years old and don't miss it one bit! I know what you mean about how when we are younger we could run on such a little amount of sleep. I am glad you had a blast though and hope that hangover goes away! cheesy

I am so tired this morning. Around 2 or 3 am, there was one wicked thunderstorm after another rolling through. I can't recall hearing such loud and long thunder rolls in my life! It scared Bo and he had to have the light on - poor dog is petrified of storms. Mouse was afraid, too, but she is much easier to handle. Just being near her calms her down. Bo wants to run away and so he is much harder to pacify. After the storms passed I couldn't fall back to sleep for another couple of hours. Going to be a long day!

Same here! I usually sleep like a baby through storms but the one we had last night sounded like a bomb went off and blew up our town! I kept getting woke up. One of my dogs is frightened of storms too and was up all night pacing the floor. I feel so bad for her but she doesn't let anyone comfort her. I use to try to stay up with her and hold her during storms but she just wants to pace.

I have had very bad back problems since I was 19 years old. When I was in my 20's and complain it really hurt I would get dumb comments like, "you're too skinny or you're too young to have back problems". They act as if I made it up! My son is just turned 21 has had problems with his back too and is skinny as a rail. The problem is, I have no idea what I done to it. I can throw it out by just turning a wrong way. You would think I would hurt it lifting something heavy but that is never the case. I sure hope yours get better!

I am not sure if I already mentioned this but my son turned 21 years old yesterday! He's my baby! I can't believe he is already 21! He is of legal drinking age and has no desire to drink. He is opposite of how I was at 21! :lol: He was content to hang out with family for his birthday. We took him out to eat Saturday and Sunday.

We hardly have major thunderstorms here in northern California, especially not like the ones we had when I was growing up in North Carolina. Those things would rattle the windows and the whole house, and I would be scared to death.

What an end to a beautiful day. A friend suggested that we all meet up for icecream tonight since it is so warm out, so Kaylin and I piled into the car and went for some icecream as the sun set. By the time we left it was night and still warm and I got to enjoy the drive home with the windows down and the Christmas music playing! Kaylin loves, loves, loves Trans Siberian Orchestra, so we had that blasting out the window on the way home.

There's a chance for severe storms tonight and tomorrow including possibility of tornados. Hope all of you that may be in the midwest stay safe and dry!
