Good morning Christmas Friends :snowball:

Just a quick "Hello" as I start my evening. Storms passed without incident here. Thank God. I hate storms. I used to be terrified of lightning and am stil not fond of it since our house was struck some years back. It actually made the roofing nails shoot out of the roof in spots !! And The wind associated with storms - UGH. It really scares me but thankfully this storm has passed.

Well, off to it. My furkids are here with me. That is so nice. I find their presence so comforting. Smokey will shortly be trying to drive me nuts and since it is a short drive, more like a hop, skip and a jump really, it will not be difficult for him !!
I love storms but the one you experienced is scary!

I know what you mean by furkids being a comfort. I love when I am surrounded by mine!

Made is terrific!!!!!!

And with this post, Meceka is poster #7,500 and the winner of an unused Q-Tip!!! Let's hear it for Meceka!! Yay!

Cool!

I'd like to thank all the posters who paved the way for me to win this great honor - without all of you, I wouldn't be where I am today - the Winner of the Treasured Unused Q-TIP cheesy

Good morning, Christmas Family!

The sun is out and most of the snow is finally gone. Lots to do today - I really hope to make a dent in the work.

Have a Terrific Tuesday everyone and stay safe!

Phew! I made it through another Monday!

Looks like we're in for an actual spring day around here - sunny with a high in the low 60's. We don't actually get many spring days in the midwest. We tend to go from 45 straight to 85 LOL.

I was doing some planning for Christmas yesterday and came back across the site for a Christmas Candlelight Walk in Augusta, MO. I've been wanting to go to this for 4 or 5 years now. I posted about it on my facebook page, thinking that I'd just get a few comments from people making fun of me because they seem to think its the "off-season." Instead, an old friend from middle school saw the post and is thinking about coming in town to come to the event and we may meet up there! How exciting!

See that is where it pays off to think about Christmas all year. You never know who you might be thinking about it too and how it might bring you together.

So spread some Christmas cheer today - you may just make someone's day!

Good Morning, my stormy, wet Friends.
(Well, you are if you live in this part of the country, anyway.)

HARD rain last night with some wind although nothing severe.
Glad most of it has passed although we could get more through this morning and afternoon.
It's warm (64) and quite overcast with a light rain falling as I type this.

Onward - ever onward - with our count:
Days to the Season: 222
Days to Christmas Day: 264
Three weeks from today -- the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone!
Three weeks from tomorrow -- the 200-Day Season window!
Milestone, after Milestone, after.....

I hope each and every member has a Totally Terrific Tuesday and will bring a healthy appetite and thirst to the Shispering Pines tomorrow for Carl's weekly open house!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, what a storm we had last night! the power went out at 4:15 this morning and woke both me and Nancy. We searched around the house for candles in case the kids woke up in the dark. It finaly came back on around 7 am. There are trees down, and wind damage all around! It's supposed to rain all day today, too.

It might be rough outside, but it's still one day closer to the Christmas Season!

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Good morning, Christmas friends. As Bradmac said, we are one day closer to Christmas. Today it is overcast and cool in northern California, with an expected high of 74 degrees. Meceka, your acceptance speech was so eloquent. What a worthy bunch we have here. Hope everyone has a great day. Plus, Made is terriffic!!!

I am not sure if I already mentioned this but my son turned 21 years old yesterday! He's my baby! I can't believe he is already 21! He is of legal drinking age and has no desire to drink. He is opposite of how I was at 21! He was content to hang out with family for his birthday. We took him out to eat Saturday and Sunday.
Congratulations to your son!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! It is a going to be a beautiful day here in central Indy compared to yesterday. I need to do some laundry today and then run to the grocery store. I also plan on changing out the Christmas music on my mp3 player for some new Christmas music. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm Terrific!!!!

We very high winds here this morning. I don't think I've ever heard the wind make a noise like that before. My friend at work said the wind picked up her dog's kennel, and threw it into her truck, breaking a window. It's still very windy, but not as bad as this morning. It's still a good day for hot chocolate though-think I'll take a break and have some!

Oh, and Made is terrific!

Terrible storms here last night. We lost power at 10 last night and it stayed off until 5 this morning. Many folks around here are still without power. Lots of downed trees and wind damage. The temp was 70 yesterday. This morning it was 32 with snow flurries.

Made is terrific.

Good Afternoon Christmas family.......Just stopping by to say..
